Day 1 - Journey from Johannesburg via Panorama Route to Kruger National Park
Panorama Route - Upon arrival, depart from the bustling city of Johannesburg and travel east towards Mpumalanga province. The route takes us through Witbank and Lydenburg, leading to the first sightseeing stop along the Panorama Route at the breathtaking viewpoint of God’s Window. After exploring the Panorama Route, we proceed directly to Kruger National Park.

Kruger National Park
Kruger National Park - Begin the day early with a full-day game drive in the expansive Kruger National Park, aiming to spot the Big Five and other wildlife. As the largest game park in South Africa and one of the largest in Africa, Kruger National Park is home to the Big Five. It stretches approximately 360 km from north to south and about 70 km from east to west, bordering Mozambique on the eastern side. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon around 15:00.

Day 3 - Eswatini
Matsamo Cultural Village - Depart from Kruger National Park and travel through the quaint town of Malelane to Swaziland. En route, stop at the Matsamo Cultural Village, located on the border of South Africa and Swaziland, to learn about Swazi culture and enjoy a traditional village lunch. After lunch, cross the border and continue to accommodation at Mantenga Lodge or similar.

Day 4 - Eswatini to St Lucia
iSimangaliso Wetland Park - Depart Eswatini and re-enter South Africa. After completing border formalities, continue to Zululand. Arrive at the lodge in the afternoon and enjoy a sunset cruise in the iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This vast protected area along South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal coast features Lake St. Lucia, home to numerous hippos, crocodiles, pelicans, and flamingos.

Day 5 - St Lucia to Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park and Umdloti
Hluhluwe - iMfolozi Park Wilderness Area - Begin with a morning game drive at Hluhluwe Umfolozi Park, lasting about 3 hours. Located 55 km from the lodge, Hluhluwe Imfolozi Game Reserve is a Big Five Game Park in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is the oldest proclaimed reserve in Africa, offering 96,000 hectares of wilderness and magnificent Big Five sightings. After the game drive, travel for about 3 hours to Umdloti, a charming coastal town 30 km north of Durban.

Day 6 - Drakensberg
Howick Falls - Embark on a long drive to northern Drakensberg. Before reaching the lodge, visit the renowned Howick Falls in KwaZulu-Natal, part of the Umgeni River. The falls are 95 meters high and located 500 meters from Howick city center. After visiting Howick Falls, explore the Mandela Capture Site, 6 km from Howick city center, where Mandela was arrested on August 5, 1962, by the Apartheid police and sentenced to life imprisonment.

Day 7 - Drakensberg
Drakensberg Mountains - After breakfast, enjoy a 3 to 4-hour hike in the Greater Drakensberg. After lunch, there is free time for optional activities such as horse riding, relaxing at the lodge, or visiting the lodge spa.
