- The British Museum - We start with the Assyrian, Egyptian and Greek galleries on the ground floor.\n\nWe’ll see 40-ton Assyrian lamassu beasts, statues of famous pharaohs and the Parthenon temple sculptures of Athens.\n\nWe elbow our way to the front of the famous Rosetta stone and talk about its importance to history.\n\nAfter a break, we go upstairs to see the Egyptian, Mesopotamian, Babylonian, Persian, Greek and Roman galleries as time allows and your preference dictates.\n\nWe’ll look at Roman emperors, Persian tableware and drinkware that Esther and Nehemiah would have been familiar with, Egyptian mummies and a game that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph would have played.\n\nWe’ll examine some weights that Daniel may have had in mind when he interpreted the handwriting on the wall for King Belshazzar.\n\nSome of the Biblical people we’ll discuss:\nEgypt: Joseph, Moses, Abraham;\nAssyria: Jonah, Ahab, Hezekiah;\nBabylon: Daniel;\nPersia: Queen Esther, Nehemiah;\nRome: Jesus;\nGreek: Paul

In this semi-private guided tour, you’ll stand in front of ancient artifacts while discussing the Bible.
You will get to connect Bible passages to the artifacts, then place it in a timeline so that you will understand the Bible like never before. Verses will no longer just be words on the page when you see an artifact from that same time period bring the passage to life. As you place each event on the timeline, you will understand how they relate to each other in history.
Encounter 40-ton Assyrian statues, Egyptian pharaohs, Roman emperors and more. The artifacts range in age from 2000 - 3500 years old.
The tour covers Mesopotamia, Egypt, Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece and Rome.

Book today! - David was an excellent guide, you should absolutely book with him if you want to learn more about the Bible, its effects on our society, and especially if you want to deepen your personal faith. Not only was David knowledgeable, interesting, and thorough, he was careful to adjust his tour to our interests and needs. To top it all off, he was very accommodating with our tardiness and my mother-in-laws inability to find the tour 😬. At the end he even walked us to the tube station so we wouldn’t miss our boat tour!

A Joyful, Insightful, and Faith-Deepening Tour - David’s Explore Biblical Artifacts tour at the British Museum was a true highlight of our visit to London. From start to finish, David was engaging, joyful, and incredibly knowledgeable. He led us through the busy museum with energy and clarity, making sure we didn’t miss a single important detail—even adjusting the route on the fly when certain galleries were scheduled to close early. His flexibility and professionalism were impressive.
What really set this tour apart was David’s deep passion—not just for the artifacts themselves, but for the Biblical texts they relate to. His insights connected the ancient world to the living Word in ways that were moving and intellectually rich. Excellent Tour of British Museum - Highly Recommend! - Excellent tour of British Museum with fantastic tour guide - funny, knowledgeable, and experienced. Truly the best way to experience this wonderful museum. The Bible comes alive through the artifacts and Biblical stories and references are verified by historical timelines and events. How encouraging for Bible believers to have their faith strengthened in this way. If you are a skeptic or a non-believer - take this tour and be challenged to see the world through a Biblical lens. You won’t regret it!

Amazing Tour and Guide!!! - What an amazing tour this was. David is very knowledgable and passionate about history and the Bible. The museum's collection is great and David does a great job showing how some of the museum's artifacts and their history can be traced back to Biblical times. We're very glad we did the tour.

Amazing experience! - Wow!! David is an amazing guide. Super knowledgeable of biblical history and does a fantastic job of bringing the Bible to life by showing numerous examples of artifacts in the museum which are also referenced in the Bible. Truly a wonderful experience and David just could not have been more perfect for our experience. Highly recommend.

Best museum experience! Worth every pound - David did a fantastic job making history and the Bible come alive. He is very knowledgeable about the artifacts and the Bible. He tailored it to cover topics we were interested and took time to really go deep. We highly recommend!

Outstanding Tour - A comprehensive view of the Bible and the collection in the British Museum. Puts it all together. Relates the kings, warriors and prophets to real events and artifacts. Puts the story together. David is outstanding!!

Biblical Tour Through the British Museum - This tour was amazing. The British Museum is so vast that it would be impossible to find all the artifacts by yourself as well as know the history behind the artifacts. David did a fantastic job of guiding us through the beginning of the Bible in Genesis with Abraham all the way to the Roman’s of the New Testament. David was able to make these reliefs and artifacts come alive by telling the stories behind them with a Biblical connection. Learning about the Assyrian reliefs was fascinating for me as it helped me connect the events of the split kingdoms of Israel and Judah.

Amazing to see the Bible come to life! - David started the tour with an overview of some timelines. During the tour, we were brought around different artifacts, where details of the artifacts and the symbolism of the small details were explained, alongside with different parts of the bible. We were also asked interesting questions, so the whole tour is very interesting and lively.
It is truly amazing when we can associate pictures of different people and objects to the text in the bible. Whether you would like to strengthen your faith, know more about the bible, or are simply doubtful about the trustworthiness of the bible, this tour is definitely worth your time and money.

Tour with inspiration and knowledge - David is experienced and knowledgeable in explanation of the works in the tour. Although 3 hours is not enough to understand all works, the tour inspired me to do checks on Bible and work hard to understand more. I look forward to the next Bible tour in National Gallery guided by David.
