A great day out in good hands. - Difficult place for a non driver to reach with no local train station so this tour was ideal and fairly priced as it included entrance to the Glastonbury Abbey ruins. Our guide Kristen was very knowledgeable friendly and easy to listen to . Had a great day and came home with plenty of cider pies cakes and ofcourse Cheese!!!!

Wonderful, full on day trip to Glastonbury and Cheddar - This was a fantastic trip with lots of highlights. It's quite a lot for a day so be ready to come back tired. Choices have to be made in terms of where to go as there is no time for everything but it's surely worth it to have a glimpse of these to places. We had lots of fun. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. Recommend.

Amazing experience - I could’ve spent all day in Glastonbury but we fit a lot in to our tour and it was a great experience! Pick up and drops offs were in convenient locations in London, the bus was comfortable and had charging ports. I learned a lot and will be back!

A Different Day in England - A long but well-worth-it day to two unique treasures. Glastonbury must have been a small working city in its day. The remains are hauntingly beautiful. Cheddar Gorge provided a completely different picture of England. From cheese to man-made caves, to the rugged gorge, there was always something to see and sense. I've tried to get on this tour for three years and it lived up to its description. Our tour guide, Calum, was one of the best!

TO DO - If only to see Arthur’s grave, this trip to Glastonbury is a dream for those who love the legend of the Grail. But the abbey itself (at least what's left of it) is a superb monument to see in an incredibly large space where you could stay for hours just sitting and getting carried away by the peaceful atmosphere of the place! The other remains of the temples and the garden did not wherewherewherewherewherewherewhere are also impressive to see As for Cheddar, this small mountainside town is also worth a visit for local produce: Cheddar (of course), but also jams and cider! Not to mention the possibility of exploring the caves, climbing to the top to enjoy a superb view. Our guide/driver peppered the route with various and varied explanations to fully understand the history. We may regret not having made an additional stop, the time in coach still seems a little long for the shared experience..

9 September 2023 -Glastonbury and Cheddar Gorge - This one day tour was guided by Anderson Tours. One had almost 3hrs to comfortably wander around Glastonbury and see the ruins of its Abbey and visit some quirky shops. There was also ample time to grab lunch and/or have a quick light lunch at one of the cafes. Visiting Chalice Wells (about 10-15mins walk away) and Gardens is a must to feel the tranquility and harmony of its surroundings. Following this about 30-45mins away we headed towards Cheddar Gorge and saw lots of breath taking views. Here we were given about 2.5hrs. Visited the Gough Caves at extra cost. The caves were well-lit and easy to walk but not suitable if one has mobility difficulties especially walking up and down the stairs as there are so many stairs!! The views of these caves were spectacular. I would definitely recommend this tour and one should ensure to visit in the heart of Summer.

Disappointing day tour - Very disappointing tour. I read before picking this tour that Glastonbury is supposed to be a mythical place, full of legends and Cheddar gorge is supposedly England's largest gorge with spectacular sights - both failed to live up to all these write ups. Jacob's ladder is just a 274 steps path up with a fee of £6.85 and absolutely no view of the gorge. Our tour guide was also not very knowledgeable and not exactly clear in her heavily accented English.
