The professional photographer guide will meet participants near the Cutty Sark clipper at the designated start time to discuss the group’s learning objectives. Ensure all devices are fully charged the night before. Following an introduction to lighting, composition, or the group’s chosen focus, participants will capture the beauty of this 19th-century sailing ship.

Afterward, the group will proceed along the Thames Path, capturing stunning river views. There will be an opportunity to explore the historical surroundings of Greenwich Pier before visiting the grounds of the 18th-century Old Royal Naval College to photograph its remarkable architecture and historical ambiance. The guide will provide composition tips throughout the journey.

Continuing along the Thames Path, participants will discover charming alleyways with cobbled streets and quaint houses. They will photograph the dome of the O2 Arena from across the river and appreciate its place in the London skyline. The tour will pass by traditional pubs with statues of seafarers like Lord Nelson, uncover deserted river beaches with sand and shingle, and capture boats and ships on the River Thames. Participants should not miss photographing Trinity Hospital, dating back to 1616, the oldest building in Greenwich.

The tour concludes by the Cutty Sark pub, a short walk from Cutty Sark for Maritime Greenwich DLR.
