Interesting insights we might have otherwise missed - Very interesting tour. Opened our eyes to a lot things that aren't on the normal tourist trail, and gave us an insight into what would be seen in the area. Simon was a very personable and knowledgeable leader, ably supported by Colin.

Simon the Amazing Tour Guide - This was an amazing tour with Simon as our tour guide, professor! He was extraordinarily knowledgeable/personable and went at a pace that was perfect and allowed for so much learning of history coupled with the explanation of views, buildings, paintings, artifacts that reflected the history of the times. We would strongly recommend and hope to come back where we can continue to learn more from him! Superb tour and tour guide!

Too bad for Greenwich, sad trip - Guide Simon is "nice and friendly" but the organization of the walk lacks substance and depth. In the museums that go through in a short time, you expect a guide to INTERPRETATION on the most attractive subjects that are exhibited there. We were unloaded loose in the museum, you find out for yourself where you want to get lost. Away passion, interest, facts, entertainment. Annoyance that you pay wasted money for that. Zero draft, just a hiking companion. The lack of preparation was also disturbing : lunch in the brewery in the afternoon (after half an hour... sitting there) was not possible because the kitchen was closed. Those who go out with a group of about 12 people should know in advance; Then move to the restaurant of the painted hall where the food could not be worse: still half frozen, unsavory bread, questionable spinach. Snacked, it's called. To make matters worse, it turned out that a voucher was still ordered for me to enter the painted hall. That may have been quickly sorted out, but the tone of such visits has been set: messy, unprofessional, aimless and chaotic. We were relieved from the visit to the painted hall where the guide (of the museum fortunately) brought the story of the hall into words and images with flying colors. No, trip advisor, not OK, this was disastrous, apart from the nice weather, not really a credit to the organizer.
