Excellent way to learn about Jack the Ripper - Rory was quite informative and intelligent. We learned a lot more about Jack the Ripper than we expected.

Great tour - Really informative tour. Rory knows his stuff. Smaller groups than other similar tours we saw, which made it much better. Great way to see this part of London too. Tour would be even better if you did it in winter darkness, for added atmosphere and authenticity!

Great Tour - Really great tour around Whitechapel and the City of London. It was even better since it was at night. The tour guide was knowledgeable. Stop at The White Hart pub for a pint after the tour. The pub was around during the Jack the Ripper timeframe.

Tour was Slashing. I mean, SMASHING. - Highly recommend! A very interesting tour with a knowledgeable guide. Easy meetup site, too.
I especially enjoyed his pointing out architectural details that remain unchanged since the time of the murders.

It was interesting and... - It was interesting and Rory was a wonderful guide. But so much has changed that it is difficult to visualize. Also the area is somewhat rough as we witnessed a group beating and chasing a man during the tour.

A must if you visit London - Sorry to give a 3* rating. The walk was missing elements like intrigue, enthusiasm & excitement. The story told was interesting with some details I had not heard before. But I did feel that it's a same story told over & over which did lack the excitement i think could have been implemented into the story.
It was a birthday present for me from my hubby. Unfortunately other issues added to the lack of intrigue, being February weather, dark, cold & wet. On a plus it ended at Spitalfields market, which we visited the following day. And what a market it is. Great foods, drinks, and shopping to be had.
Overall the walk is a must if visiting London. One that would like many things, that need only be done once in life. Just aim for a beautiful clear summer night if you can guarantee no rain.
Thanks to the female guide with the slight German accent. I did not get her name clearly.
