Highly recommend this London bike tour (with Chris) - This was fun, leisurely, comprehensive (Central London), and guided by a safety-conscious, knowledgeable, very patient and very social guide, Chris. Chris gave historical tips in taking our small (12-person) group down side streets (less traffic) + other streets to get to points like Big Ben, Parliament, Covent Garden, Trafalgar Square, Globe Théâtre + lots of other points of interest. One of final stops was on bridge over Thames River to see *spectacular* flyover to mark the King‘s birthday. (Ask Chris for insider story on this particular UK event.) Loved the tour. Loved our guy Chris. Highly recommend.

Went into it skeptical but had a wonderful time - We had a tour with Dom, hitting many of the major landmarks/sites of London in a few hours. The landmarks are what they are (my review doesn't relate to them), but we had great weather and a good group, so everything went as well as it could have in that regard. For the actual tour, the route we took was pretty easy. It was my first time in London, and we took the tour on my first full day there. I didn't know the city at all yet. That said, it was easy to get around — Dom was a great guide, who used signals to indicate turns, etc. and he was patient with traffic and the group so nobody got lost or fell behind — and the tour helped me learn the basic map of London. For any spots that I wanted to spend more time at (like St. Paul's Cathedral), I just went back later. The distance between each stop was really manageable; maybe 10 minutes, but likely fewer. At the stops, Dom gave great introductions to what we were seeing, why it was important/worth seeing, etc. At a few stops, we had some time to look around, take pictures, or just rest. Dom would play harmonica to corral the group back together. All in all, it was a great experience. I was skeptical going into it, since it was my first bike tour, but it was wonderful. You see a lot of the city in a few hours, get to take great photos, and learn a bit too.

Best way to see London - Fantastic safe cycle through the bustling heart of London. Saw most of the check-box landmarks and some I wasn’t familiar with. Huge amount of fun and truly fabulous guide, Chris

Bike the city to see the main sites. - Touring the city by bike is a great way to see a lot of the main sites. Pace is good with plenty of stops for pictures. You get to see areas you’d likely walk by without on your own. Love a tour guide with lots of detail. We hit the jackpot with Dominic! He was so knowledgeable and had a sense of humor. He even played the harmonica fitting it in with the local sites.

Safety Concerns - My daughter was grazed by a double decker bus going through Trafalgar which could have been avoided by using cross walk. Tour guide was not local and did not have inexperienced or young riders near him, he took off, did not communicate the path or safety concerns along the way and put the group in dangerous situations. As an experienced cyclist, I was uncomfortable and worried for my daughter’s safety that I was riding along side to protect her as much as possible and could not wait for the bike ride to be over. I thought about calling a taxi several times.
