A Fun and Flavorful Family Adventure in London’s East End - We had a fantastic experience on the East End Food Tour with George! Traveling with three kids under 15, it’s not always easy to keep everyone engaged—but George made it effortless. He introduced us to an amazing variety of foods, from specialty bagel sandwiches and curry to classic British dishes and some delicious sweet treats along the way.
Everything was thoughtfully chosen, and we definitely left feeling full and satisfied. What really made the tour special, though, was George himself—his stories, deep knowledge of food, and insights into London kept us all entertained from start to finish. Highly recommend for families and food lovers alike!

A Must-Do Soho Food Tour with an Incredible Guide - We had a wonderful time with David on our Soho food tour. He took us to spots we likely wouldn’t have found on our own, and every stop was thoughtfully chosen and absolutely delicious.
The experience felt like being part of a food travel show—effortless, fun, and full of great stories. David is incredibly knowledgeable about Soho’s food scene and shared insider tips that made the rest of our time in London even better.
If you’re visiting London and want a unique way to explore Soho, this tour is absolutely worth it. We’ll definitely be recommending it and can’t wait to come back.

Great afternoon at the Borough Market - We had an English food tour of the Borough Market with Taylor from Chubby Fellow. Taylor was an engaging knowledgeable fellow who had stories and facts to share about the Market and the surrounding area during our late afternoon tour. We started with introductions and a short gin basil smash cocktail, then moved through the various areas of the market for the next couple of hours. We sampled sausage rolls, cheese, fish and chips, empanadas and craft beers finishing with a standard English dessert at a near by English pub. The pace was easy, the food was delicious and Taylor’s spin on the market was great. Highly recommended.

Delightful Experience - As seasoned international travelers, we enjoy food tours to get an authentic flavor of the area we are visiting. While most have been lovely, the Chubby Fellow Soho tour that we took with Taylor was exceptional! His energy, enthusiasm and knowledge brought our experience to life. He greeted us outside our hotel with a homemade gin basil smash cocktail to start our journey! From there we visited 5 different places, highlighting 5 different cuisines, each one outstandingly memorable in its own unique way. While the food was incredible, Taylor’s engagement was what makes us wish we could rate this tour a 10 out of 5. If you have time to do a food tour with Chubby Fellow, you will not be disappointed.

Perfect Pairing - My daughter and I have just returned from an outstanding guided tour of Borough Market's cheese stalls. Our host, David was a perfect blend of knowledge and humour. He is a self-proclaimed foodie and mixologist and clearly has a passion for cheese.
I'd only ever been to Borough Market once before and, on that occasion, had found the crowds and the choices overwhelming. David however expertly navigated us through it all, finding quiet places for us to sit (for example at a street food bar where we were treated to a delicious selection of Empanadas) and pausing at carefully selected cheese stalls to introduce us to artisans from Italy, France, Switzerland, Portugal and even England. He knew them all and was greeted at each stall as a long lost friend.
In fact, it reminded me of the scene in the film Goodfellas, where Henry Hill brings his new wife Karen to the Copacabana night club where his mob connections grant them instant VIP treatment. However, rather than a menacing underlying threat of violence, we were put at ease by the kindness of strangers; rather than cocaine, we were treated to cheeses from all over the world. Who'd have thought I'd ever try cheese fermented in Prosecco, followed by a mushroom risotto? During our travels, David put together a goody bag of our favourites, including cheese cake.
There are a few reasons I've called this review 'Perfect Pairing'. Firstly, David expertly selected unusual and bold accompaniments to pair with the cheese. We had Turkish delight infused with blackberries; cider; and a cocktail that David had crafted that morning, which included gin, blueberries and chilli. Secondly, my daughter had bought this experience as a 60th birthday treat and I'd like to think that she and I made the perfect pairing too. But finally, being accompanied by David made him the perfect pairing for us. Thank you David for opening our eyes, or rather - awakening our senses - to new textures, flavours and places.

5 Stars for Chubby Fellow!!!! - Taylor was our guide for the Chubby Fellow tour of Soho. He is one of the founders of the company and his enthusiasm and energy were amazing. There were five of us on the tour, and at the end we were asked for our favorite on the tour. Everyone picked something different! The tour started off with a bang, and a little homemade cocktail. The Gin Basil Smash was a smashing success. Apparently tours vary, depending upon size of the party & availability of the restaurants, so our experience may be slightly different than yours. We had Jain Bing at the Chinese Tapas House. We had not had anything like this before and found this a great start to our tour. We headed to Leongs Legend for hand made dim sum with Pork Soup Dumplings and Prawn Har Gow. This was so good that we returned to this restaurant a couple of days later and had a full meal there. Mango daiquiris were perfectly paired with Roti Chanai at Laxsa. While delicious, this overall flavor profile was not new to us. Lina Stores was the site of "drunk" cheese and proscuitto San Danielle. The proscuitto can go head to head with any Iberico jamon you can find in Spain - it was amazing. We also went back here for a bottle of wine & more "drunk" cheese for another night. We capped off our tour at William Curley chocolatier for some unusual truffle flavors. Taylor was engaging and enthusiastic about the entire experience and this tour was one of the highlights of our visit to London. I would highly recommend this.
