• Buckingham Palace - Stroll along Whitehall, where you can admire other significant monuments and buildings, leading to Buckingham Palace, the official residence and workplace of the British monarch. Constructed in 1703 by John Sheffield, 1st Duke of Buckingham and Normandy, it was acquired by the British royal family in 1761.
  Here, if scheduled on your tour day and weather permitting, you can witness the Changing of the Guard, one of the oldest and most recognizable ceremonies associated with Buckingham Palace, where a New Guard takes over from the Old Guard.

• This is an outdoor walking tour in which you will see the attractions from outside.
• This tour is suitable for children aged 5 and above. Younger kids and toddlers are welcome, but the tour may not be appropriate for their age.
• The Changing the Guard takes place every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday from August to April, and every day in June and July, but it doesn’t take place in the rain or in a very bad weather (the guards cancel ceremony if it rains, because the rain could damage their brass instruments) .
