- Burford - The day begins by departing London and travelling towards the quintessentially English countryside of The Cotswolds; an area that is famous for its beautiful landscape, charming villages and honey-coloured stone cottages. Our first stop will be the traditional town of Burford; known as the ‘Gateway to the Cotswolds’. This is a historic place where many houses date back nearly 600 years and little has changed for centuries. During the visit there will be time to explore Burford, visit the magnificent church and stroll along the high street to visit a mix of independent family-run shops.
- Bibury - The village of Bibury is often described as the ‘prettiest village in England’. It’s charming scene is a snapshot of traditional English country life. Wander along the gentle river and see the iconic Arlington Row; a set of weavers cottages that are now one of the symbols of the Cotswolds.
- Bourton-on-the-Water - Our lunch stop is the charming settlement of Bourton-on-the-Water. The town’s river setting has seen it become known as the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds’.
- Stow-on-the-Wold - We’ll continue through the countryside to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest town in the Cotswolds that is a jumble of ancient inns & antique shops located around the bustling market square. This historic town was a place of inspiration for JRR Tolkien and is also where the last battle of the English Civil War took place in 1646.

Highly recommend the tour for a small group and memorable day - Perfect and most enjoyable day with James as our guide. The drive was comfortable and entertaining. Each stop was well thought out and all suggestions were excellent.

The Cotswolds in June - We had a wonderful time with Len, touring through the Cotswolds. It was a much larger area than I knew! Great driver and tour director. Knowledgeable and funny. Recommend the tour!

Must Do Tour - Small group tour was the way to go. It felt more quaint to travel with a small group. Our driver, Ash, was a 10/10! I’m not sure it would have been the same without him. He was extremely knowledgable about the region and provided us with background information about each stop, as well as recommendations for food, drink, and shopping. We were extremely pleased with this tour and Ash!

Fabulous!!! - Ash our driver was amazing. Very friendly and knowledgeable. The bus was smooth and I didn’t feel sick on it at all. The Cotswolds were so beautiful. We were given plenty of time to explore the little villages. I had a fabulous time on this tour and recommend it to all.

Awesome Day Trip! - The whole day was amazing. The Cotswolds are magical. Appropriate amount of time dedicated to each stop. Our tour guide Asher was the best! Knowledgeable, funny, friendly- he helped to make the trip great and went out of his way to make it special for us!!

Beautiful Cotswolds Drive - Our tour to the Cotswolds was wonderful. Len was our guide and driver. He is very knowledgeable and informative. He told us interesting tidbits about the Cotswolds. If you get Len as your guide you’ll be very pleased. Overall I would highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous, relaxing GO TOURS day trip to the Cotswalds - I had a FABULOUS time on my Cotswold tour with GO TOURS and Liam this week. We were so lucky, the weather was good, cool with one or two brief showers, very light and passing quickly. The Cotswalds are absolutely beautiful. Peaceful, relaxing, lovely to drive around. GO TOURS had everything set up perfectly - pick up place/time, etc. The history in England is incredible, and I learned so much from our guide/driver Liam. He was really outstanding. He has a big map of the UK on the ceiling at the front of the bus, and he was able to point to certain areas and say -- "here is largely where the Saxons/Normans invaded", etc. He is so knowledgeable and frankly just a really really nice man. I cannot imagine a better guide.I highly highly recommend this tour if you would like a lovely day away from the hustle and bustle of London. I looked at reviews from other tours to the Cotswalds, and GO TOURS consistently got the best ratings and reviews, so I went with them and am so glad I did. :)

Quiet Escape to the Countryside - A quiet escape to the countryside of the UK and our tour guide, Len, made the experience amazing! His history lessons throughout the day were engaging. Len takes back country roads so you have a full day of open green pastures with beautiful trees and cottages to view. I recommend this tour for all ages. Our children enjoyed the day!
