Combine London sightseeing with a thrilling speedboat ride on a 50-minute Thames River cruise. Hop on your contemporary speedboat and enjoy unmatched views of iconic city landmarks such as Big Ben, the London Eye, and St Paul’s Cathedral. Discover the city’s history from your engaging guide, and then get your adrenaline pumping as your skipper accelerates and you zoom along the Thames River at speeds reaching up to 35 miles (56 km) per hour. This is a small-group experience, limited to 12 participants.
- Children under 14 years must be accompanied by an adult, minimum age is 6 months
- All seats must be pre-booked with the supplier, refer to voucher for further details
- We are unable to take wheelchairs actually on-board, guests can travel with their carers assistance to board the vessel and down steps into the seating, they must be able to sit unaided onboard.

The London Eye Pier is located directly underneath the London Eye, the ‘Boat ticket sales and entrance’ is on the right hand-side. Please do not queue at the ticket office as you have already pre-booked tickets, head straight down onto the floating pontoon towards Boarding Gate One.

So much fun! - We did this experience a couple of weeks ago with family and it was such good fun. I was a little nervous but you soon get use to the speed. I love the music that plays along while flying down the Thames!

Faster than we expected!! - Shout out to Jack our guide and AJ our skipper - we had a fantastic time. The facts around London were funny, but we had no idea what was about to happen on the other side of Tower Bridge - this thing goes FAST, REALLY FAST!! The music was thumping and the whole thing was Adrenalin fuelled. My 9 year old struggled a bit though - possibly too fast for him…..the 14 year old hasn’t stopped raving about it though!

Great trip for all ages. - We had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
Stacey and Matt were so helpful and professional.
Stacey is an excellent tour guide, very funny and genuine.
Also the chap who did the safety briefing and fitted our life jackets was also very professional and kind (sorry I didn't catch you name)
We will recommend the Thames rocket to all our family and friends.

Best thing we did!! - This was a fantastic trip, fun and also informative. My 9 year old boy absolutely loved it, he loved the speed and also the way they told you all the facts! Music and instructors were brilliant!

Great experience! - I enjoyed it and I want to come again. I came on the trip with my support worker as I am visually impaired and I like the way the staff treated me like any other person. It was great fun.

An Unforgettable High-Speed Adventure on the Thames 🚀 - We booked with Thames Rockets on 28 March 2026 and honestly, it was one of the best experiences we’ve had in London.
From start to finish, everything was slick, friendly and really well organised. Our driver AJ was absolutely brilliant, delivering all the speed, twists and adrenaline you could want. It genuinely felt like a rollercoaster on the water at times, but always safe and controlled.
Our guide Bill completely made the experience. He struck the perfect balance between being funny, engaging and genuinely informative. The commentary never felt forced, just really natural, full of interesting facts about London, and delivered in a way that kept everyone entertained.
The whole trip had such a great atmosphere. The music added a lot to the experience, especially during the high-speed sections, and really brought everything together. It’s not just a sightseeing tour, it’s a full-on experience.
Seeing London from the Thames at speed, mixed with the laughs, the energy and the views, makes this a must-do whether you’re visiting or local.
Would 100% recommend, and we’d definitely do it again.
