Our Best Tour in London - Our friends had suggested doing this event; and while I was not as enthusiastic, I would say that of the 3 tours we did in London, this one by far exceeded my expectations. It was excellent. One of the reasons is that our tour guide, Nate, who has a master's in history, was absolutely fantastic. The tour started out at the war memorial along the Thames and from there, Nate selected on focusing on a couple of key points. He was the best story teller and could be a host on PBS or a Ted Talk (he was that good). I learned so many interesting facts leading up to the War. We walked further along the Thames and reviewed other points of interest as it related to the war effort including a war memorial dedicated to women who served. From there we entered the Churchill War room which was really well done. Chock full of so much information on the war effort, well presented and how clever the Brits were along with the Allied troops to win the war.

Can’t miss with this tour - War Rooms included - Our guide Amber was terrific - she had a strong, well-toned voice so we could hear easily and she kept the tour at a good pace but not too fast. She knew tons of info about Churchill, his life and WWII actions. Her stories were interesting, accurate and she even did a pretty fair voice impression of some of his famous quotes and sang a few lines of some significant WWII songs! She was a great guide for our group. Thanks!

Great tour for the $$ - I loved the tour and the war rooms/museum. If you aren't into history, maybe this isn't the tour for you, but if you love history, this is absolutely the tour for you. Robert (I believe his name was) was a fantastic tour guide as he guided us through Westminster and discussed much of the everyday realities during WWII. On a side note, he was very informative and helpful about London in general, which always makes for a solid tour guide. The tour itself is about 1.5 or 1.75 hours. The tour was a great accompaniment to the war rooms and museum, but if you are pressed for time, you may only want to visit the war rooms (and even omit the added-on museum) instead of the tour. The war rooms and museum provided a sanitized audio guide to all. Our tour guide suggested 1-1.5 hours for the war rooms and museum, but I spent nearly four hours there. But I'm also the kind of person who devours everything in a museum, so plan wisely. Some information that's in the war rooms/museum was also covered by the tour guide, but he also ensured we knew the best parts/highlights. To be honest, I did consider the price of this tour--£78, or $109 (USD). The price of the war rooms entry is £33, or $45, which is already included. With the tour being about 1.5 hours, £45/$64 is absolutely a fair amount to pay for the level of quality for this tour.

He was extremely knowledgeable about the British war history managing to incorporate lots of stories about Churchill before we headed to the War Rooms to finish the afternoon - I would highly recommend Paul as your guide if you get the opportunity to book this tour

Not worth it - This was just not worth the over $700 we paid. We thought we would bebgett8ngnsome gems on what it was like for Londoners during Churchill's time. All we got werenexplanq5ion of plaques built in the last twenty years. We would have been better served to follow our own guidebook.

I'll informed walk guide. War room poorly managed - During the walk our guide emphasized US involvement, did not mention Canadian involvement. Highly offensive as US did nothing until Pearl Harbor forced action, Canada answered call with UK in 1939. Churchill war room was quite confusing. Headset audio did not correspond with what visitors were seeing. Churchill musium was in the middle of war room tour leading visitors to believe tour ended. Employee had to come to explain there is more to see. Poorly managed.
