Matt & Stephen - We arrived in The Hardrodk Cafe in the Printworks Thursday 29th May for my partners birthday, we were greeted by the lovely Matt who was so kind and friendly and showed us to our seats. Matt went through the menus with us and couldn't have been more helpful. We chose the 2 course set menu which was very reasonably priced and was very tasty. My partner told him he use to work for TGI Fridays in Dublin. We had a lovely shift leader Stephen come over to chat to us and both him and my partner had a great conversation about their experiences in hospitality and compared stories. Everyone was so friendly, the food was delicious and we didn't want to leave especially because we had 2 for the price of one cocktails 🤣 when we are back in Manchester we will definitely be coming back.

Simply lovely - We came in for food and drinks prior to a gig at the Manchester arena. The we were shown to our table which was very close to the next table. The food menu looked very good and as a vegetarian a few options were available. The food and service was first class. We would definitely recommend and return.

No need to all rush at once - Nice atmosphere, had a table available for 3 of us at 18:00pm. No waiting. Starters came with kids meal. Kids meal - hot dog and chips. The hot dog tasted awful our son only had the chips. Adult meal ribs - huge portion size! Not to much sauce then when we asked for more bbq was told its £1 a pot . . . Which seems ridiculous. Chicken sandwich meal spicey and good portion size. Our serve Ollie was a breath of fresh air. Apologies he had to charge us for condiments and explained everything well. He was the star of the show although this visit was under whelming. What's the point in spending £70 on a meal if we had to pay extra for sauce.

Weird place - It was late until Saturday night. We weren’t that impressed with the chicken sharing nachos that we ordered as there was so little chicken on the plate. We then move to the bar area and in the next table a gorl had fallen asleep and snoring loudly whilst her other half continued to have his, and then her pint it was good to see that the staff were checking that all was okay with the couple

Average - Service from the lady was excellent- helpful, quick, friendly. No sport on (Euros were on) which was disappointing. Food was average - the Gold menu had a choice of 6 mains ave one single desert. Menu definitely needs work as it feels dated.

Stay away from this place - Me and a few friends visited today and ordered strawberry daiquiris and we were advised the blender was broken we received no apology and the cocktails we got were poorly made had no ice and was not up to the standard you would expect from such a big well known establishment, and in addition to that we ordered jager bombs which were flung together in a high ball glass which is not how they should be served. When they charge high end prices you expect to receive a high end product and service. The experience was extremely disappointing and I will be advising people to stay away when visiting Manchester. Please avoid if you're in the area. We will never be back and will be avoiding the all Hard Rock Cafe establishments it's absolutely crap
