Corinth Canal - The Isthmus of Corinth is a slender land bridge linking the Peloponnese peninsula with the Greek mainland, near the city of Corinth.
Ancient Corinth (Archaia Korinthos) - Corinth was a city-state (polis) on the Isthmus of Corinth, the narrow land connecting the Peloponnese to mainland Greece, approximately midway between Athens and Sparta.
Akrokorinthos - Acrocorinth, the acropolis of ancient Corinth, is a monolithic rock that overlooks the ancient city of Corinth, Greece.
Moni Osiou Patapiou - Patapios of Thebes is the patron saint of dropsy. Saint Patapios is renowned for the miracles he performed in the past and continues to perform today, which are meticulously documented in the historical archives of the monastery, which houses an extensive library.
Heraion (Sanctuary of Hera) in Perachora - The Heraion of Perachora is a sanctuary dedicated to the goddess Hera, located in a small cove of the Corinthian Gulf at the end of the Perachora peninsula.
Mycenae - Perseus founded the most significant and affluent palace center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece, Mycenae: The Kingdom of the legendary Agamemnon. The Gate and the Tomb of the Lions, the tomb of Agamemnon (“Treasure of Atrea” in excellent condition and the most impressive of the nine Mycenaean tombs), and the Cyclopean Walls of the Mycenaean Acropolis are some of the monuments that captivate travelers. Mycenae’s prominence began in 1600 BC and lasted until 1110 BC. The descendants of Perseus ruled for three generations. The city’s reconstruction and fortification began in 1350 BC. When Pausanias visited Ancient Sparta in the 2nd century AD, it was already in ruins.

Nafplio-Ancient Sparta-Mystras-Ancient Olympia-Athens
Acropolis and Ancient Theater - At 6:30 AM, the journey from Nafplio to Ancient Sparta begins. The itinerary includes visits to its Acropolis, ancient Theater, and some Roman-era houses. A notable attraction is the statue of Leonidas, depicting his full battle attire from the Battle of Thermopylae in 480 BC during the second Persian invasion of Greece, following their defeat 10 years earlier at Marathon. Visitors will also see the tomb of Leonidas (whose remains were transported and interred in Sparta in 430 BC, 50 years after his death) and the statue of Lycurgus (the lawgiver of ancient Sparta who established the military education system of Spartan society, as per Apollo’s Oracle in Delphi).
Mystras - Nestled on the slopes of Taygetos, the Castle of Mystras offers visitors a journey through time. It remains remarkably intact and deserted, providing an unparalleled cultural experience in landscapes that awaken the senses. Ready for a historical adventure?
Olympia - Visitors can explore the site of the Ancient “Sacred Forest,” the name of Ancient Olympia. Situated on the northern riverbank of Alfeios, it is one of the greatest World Heritage sites (UNESCO) and an incredible natural landscape that evolved into the largest religious sanctuary of the Ancient World.
Like time travelers, visitors are magically transported to the site where the Olympic Games were held, the most significant national event for Greeks, which, according to tradition and myths, began long before 776 BC (the official starting date) with Pelops, who won a race against King Enomao of Pisa. Earlier evidence of human presence in Ancient Olympia dates back to the 4th millennium BC, reaching its peak in the 5th century BC, when politicians, philosophers, and artists gathered to share their ideas.
