Discover the archaeological wonders of Delos on a half-day excursion from Mykonos. Accompanied by a knowledgeable local guide, sail across the sea to the UNESCO-recognized sacred island and delve into its primary excavation site on a guided walking tour. Learn about the island’s history during Ancient Greece and marvel at the excavation highlights, including the Terrace of the Lions, the House of Dionysus, and more.
The meeting point is at the Old Port of Mykonos City (Diliana—refer to the attached map) at 9:30 AM. Please find the ticket counter office to present your voucher and board the boat. The boat to Delos departs at either 10:00 AM or 5:00 PM (for the afternoon tour).

From the past comes a lesson: it only takes one man of power and a mercenary to destroy centuries of coexistence. - Delos takes you back to a time when the peoples of the Mediterranean coexisted peacefully and met on this island to worship each one of their deities. At that time they used the sea as a means of communication and the islands were not isolated, but more easily accessible than cities in the mainland.

Delos - The tour was very organized, and our guide was very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend wearing sunblock and a hat. It is quite hot at the site. It was awesome to see a whole island that is a UNESCO world site. Overall amazing experience and would highly recommend!

Great Experience for Families! - This was a very enjoyable tour of Delos, one of the important islands of Ancient Greece. Our tour guide had a great sense of humor, and the boat ride was fun due to the large waves caused by the previous day's storm. The museum is now open, and once you are finished with the tour, there's a little bit of time to explore some of the nearby areas. We hiked to the top of a nearby hill with commanding views of the island. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and water (water is available for sale on the ferry). We went in May, and it wasn't very hot, but if you go later in the summer it could be quite warm. The sun exposure is pretty intense so if you have fair skin have a plan to protect yourself.

Excellent - They canceled my tour in Spanish at the last minute and placed me on one in English. Despite that, I enjoyed it a lot with a very complete guide, I think her name was Jhoanna ()

Amazing - Our guide was amazing. My only problem is the last 4 tours we have done. We have been pick up at our hotel or there was someone at the meeting point. We got there early and ran around looking for the Viator tour. I sent messages that we were there. I did not know we had to get our tickets, go on the boat, then the meeting point was on Delos. It started out crazy but ended up wonderful 😊

An excellent trip to Delos - The Delos trip was absolutely great. Nice weather and a very good guide. The tour was not very crowded and we were then only boat visiting at the time.
I had booked the ticket through Tripadvisor and when checking in at Mykonos they could not find the booking eventhough I had the tickets with me. In addition I paid a lot more through Tripadvisor than the a actual price which was 60 Euro pr pers. I paid 20% more than I should have done. I will never buy tickets through Tripadvisor again

A must see when in Mykonos - The site was amazing. The history, and the archeological preservation showing the islands importance. The terrain is quite uneven, loose rocks so wear sturdy closed toe shoes.

Worth the trip to see the birthplace of Apollo - The tour of the island was very informative. Our guide ,'Angela', is also an archeologist . This made for a much better and deeper understanding of the structures we were seeing.The boat ride to and from the island is pleasant enough but be sure to get there early if you want a seat up top. After the tour, you are given free time to wander about on your own. BE WARNED- watch your time carefully as the boat leaves when they say they will and WILL leave you behind. We saw more than a few people running for the boat and making it just in time. Be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks as there are no vending machines or kiosks on the island. Be sure to wear a hat and use sun screen too as this is all outdoors. The museum was closed the day we went and that was a little dissapointing but the site itself is just amazing.

False advertisement to Delos Museum - The experience to Delos was positive. The cost I paid was not. The museum is closed yet I paid for it and that portion should be reimbursed. We were told it’s been closed for two years so why are they charging us a service that will not be provided. I have yet received my reimbursement. This is false advertisement.
