- Preveli Palm Forest - The lush Theophrastus palm trees lining the riverbanks create a tropical ambiance. This is Crete’s second-largest palm forest, following Vai. The river forms a small lake approximately 500 meters long before it meets the sea. Visitors can stroll along the river under the palm trees’ shade or explore the stunning canyon. At the river’s mouth, the beach features a mix of pebbles and sand, with a heart-shaped rock on the eastern side.
Visitors will have ample time to swim in the turquoise waters, bask in the sun, and take in the unique scenery.
The bus will drop off visitors at the nearest parking area, surrounded by towering cliffs—ideal for capturing stunning photos. To reach the beach, a footpath with about 300 steps, taking roughly 15 minutes, is followed.
After approximately 4 hours of leisure time, the group will return to the bus and head back to the hotel.
