- Derinkuyu Underground City - Derinkuyu Underground City is the biggest and deepest underground settlement, dating back to 7th-8th centuries. Walk down 8 levels which are each interconnected by narrow tunnels and stone-carved stairways. See the winery, church, kitchens, food storage areas and animal stalls while your guide gives you an insight into their daily life.

Ihlara Valley - take an easy 4km walk (approx. 1 hour) along the river through the deep Ihlara Valley canyon, scattered with cave churches carved by early Christian monks.
Enjoy a Turkish kebab-style lunch at a riverside restaurant in Ihlara Valley. - Selime Monastery - Selime Cathedral is the biggest rock-carved monastery in the region and was once home to Hittite, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman civilizations.

Green Tour Cappodocia - We choose Gorgeous tours for the Green tour, after many hours of research having never been to Cappadocia before, They offered the combination of sites we wanted to see, especially Derinkuyu. They were organized, punctual and provided a high value experience. Our guide, Elef ( unsure of spelling), called Ellie for us Americans, had over 10 years experience on this tour. She was extremely knowledgeable, engaging, courteous, enthusiastic and demonstrated a passion to her work which added to this unique life experience. She patiently answered each question and the more often she was challenged, the more she seemed to enjoy her clients. Highly recommended.

Incredible fantastic tour - That was one of the best excursions in my life( having visited 81 countries that means something)!!! Our guide Elif was absolutely incredible: very very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and kind with each one in the group. We just learned so much and saw just incredible landscapes ! Our driver Ali was also fantastic! I can’t say enough good things about this tour! Perfect English also!!

Great trip - Elfie was a great tour guide. She knows a lot of history and she kept all of us entertained with her jokes. Great trip, highly recommend. The only possible issue with this (not in their control) is I got food poisoning, possibly from lunch. Perhaps from the drink. Might need to investigate

Elif is great! - We went on three tours while we were in Cappadocia and Elif was the best tour guide by far. She let us know what was happening, when. She checked in with everyone and was very considerate and inclusive.
She showed great knowledge of the area and was happy to share her experience and knowledge of Turkey with us.
The Green Tour gives you the opportunity to explore caves above and below ground first hand giving you a real sense of how they were used.

She is real, passionate, knowledgeable and very engaging
The last two days I have been on two tours with other local guides who were decent. Elif is simply on a different level

I’ll come back… for hot air balloon - Did the Green Tour in Cappadocia today and WOW 😍 The views were insane, the underground city was super cool, and everything was so well organised. I don’t have to worry about the admission fee too. The crowd was also small with a group of 5 including me. The guide Elif was friendly and informative, transport was comfy, and the whole day felt totally worth it. Highly recommend!
