The wishing trees’ branches are laden with evil eye beads, which become the tree’s fruits.
• Fairy Chimneys - Known as both Pasabagi Valley and Priests’ Valley, these formations have maintained their shape for centuries, embellishing the valley and welcoming visitors. • Avanos Pottery Workshop - The transformation of soil into clay, and clay into pots and jugs, is a testament to the artisan’s skill. A master craftsman patiently works at the pottery wheel, knowing each piece has its own story. The labor is in the wheel, not just a pile of clay. Skilled hands shape the pottery, which then dries for a set period before being fired in high-temperature ovens for about three days.
