Grenada Weather Is Beautiful! - We went to Grenada Jan. 21- Jan. 28, 2026 and had a wonderful time. We have been to several tropical locations in the past years but I would have to say this was the perfect weather of all! During the day 85 to 90 degrees and night around 75, no jackets needed. We stayed at the Royalton which is about 5 minutes from airport and that is a wonderful bonus! The resort itself is very nice and clean. I will mention you do have to do some walking to get around to rooms, bars, restaurants which we didn't mind. There are 3 restaurants and you have to make reservations which is almost impossible. We got into the Italian one and it was very good. But no worries they have a buffet every night which is very good also. We were kinda disappointed that they didn't have much sea food! Check out the little lunch bar called Nibbles by the pool, good food and good service. Our favorite waitress was Kennisa, very sweet and takes care of her customers! We had a Luxury Ocean View room which was very spacious and clean. Nice balcony overlooking the ocean! Maids clean your rooms daily and give you fresh towels if you like and refill your frig. We always tip all the help when we go to these places because they do work hard. We spent most of our time on the beach which was very nice, you didn't have to fight to find chairs. There is 2 pools which were also very nice with plenty of chairs also. They have several things offered to do all day long, but we did several excursions off the resort. The only one I would tell you not to do is the town market, was not impressed and very crowded. We did a island tour with Marlon's Tours it was very interesting and he will do what you want to see. You will more then likely see him on the beach. My only complaint for me was the staff was not overly friendly, most places we have been we have always made new friends you remember of the staff. Here we did not, they weren't rude just not overly helpful or friendly. Would I go back, more then likely yes! You could not ask for better weather! Friends trip to Grenada - Booked a trip for 4 couples to Royalton Grenada through Susan Peavey Travel in Marshfield, MA. Susan was very helpful from start to finish. The resort was beautiful and staff was so friendly and helpful. The food was just okay, they need to work on that. Unfortunately everyone in our group got ill during the trip. Some with stomach bug and some with terrible cough. We made the best of it and enjoyed the days.
