Punakaiki Pancake Rocks - 9:10 am. On the Pancake Rocks walk, you’ll encounter fascinating flora and fauna, remarkable rock formations, and possibly witness the blowholes in action. Keep an eye out for the endangered Hector’s Dolphins swimming by.
Note: The walk includes some challenging rocky stairs. - Tauranga Bay Seal Colony - 11:00 am. Continuing along the Coast Road, with stops for photos, we reach Tauranga Bay. Beyond the bay’s natural beauty, a short, gentle walk leads to a viewing platform above the seal colony. Observe seals lounging on the rocks or frolicking in the water.
- Westport - 12:00 noon. Lunch in Westport is included in the tour price. Choose between two excellent dining options: The West Coast Pie Company, which elevates the classic New Zealand pie with wild or local ingredients, or PR’s Cafe, offering a more traditional cafe-style lunch (catering to v/df/etc).

Shortjaw Brewing - 1:00 pm. From Tuesday to Saturday, enjoy a craft beer tasting at Shortjaw Brewery. Discover the unique flavors crafted by the brewer and learn about the beer-making process.
*On Sundays and Mondays, additional attractions are available in Reefton. - Lower Buller Gorge Road - 1:45 pm. Experience the rugged beauty of the Buller Gorge, pause for photos, and discover intriguing features of the Gorge and the road’s development by early settlers. There may also be a chance to visit the small Rotokuhu Lavender cottage industry.

Reefton Distilling Co. - 2:45 pm. From Tuesday to Saturday, arrive in the quaint town of Reefton for a tasting of award-winning spirits, including Gin and Whiskey. On all days, explore the town nestled by the Inangahua River, surrounded by hills and mountains.
*On Sundays and Mondays, cross the old swing footbridge to explore New Zealand’s first power station site and visit the Reefton I-site with its intriguing displays. - Brunner Mine Site Walk - 3:30 pm. Travel through the scenic Grey Valley farmland to the Brunner Mine site, Memorial, and Walk, located in a charming Gorge. Learn about mining history and see historical mining evidence set in the beautiful New Zealand forest.
- Greymouth - 5:15 pm. A short drive brings us back to Greymouth, completing the tour.

Explore the West Coast’s scenic beauty and hidden gems, such as the Shortjaw brewery (open Tuesday to Saturday) or historic mining sites. Relax as the driver handles the journey, allowing you to enjoy the views, taste local beers and spirits, or learn about the natural environment and local history that make the West Coast a unique and essential part of your visit. On summer Sundays, there may be a stop at the Fox River Market.
