Recommended 100% - Recommended 100%. Grindelwald, one of the most beautiful villages in the Bernese Alps. Then you ascend Mount First via the cable car and you can see dreamscapes. This beautiful adventure for nature lovers is awesome. You won't regret it!

Best experience so far - loved the tottie bike back down! - This was so amazing. We loved every minute and especially the tottie bike. I'm 65 and it was absolutely easy for me. I would do it again if I could! Much better than the gondola down!

Breathtaking views of the city - Take the gondola up the First from Grindelwald. 25 minutes, serious price but okay. Beautiful views and many hiking opportunities. There was still a lot of snow at the end of April.

First Cliff Walk, a trip in sunshine that is more than worthwhile👍😃 - Great trip to First Cliff Walk! With the 6-seater gondola from Grindelwald up to the First, all in one ride. On the ridge then the Cliff Walk. Very doable, great views, great pictures. Afterwards a stop on the beautiful First Terrace, sunshine ☀️ and very courteous service. Thank you.

Great views - The views were fantastic. The ride up and down were smooth and if you walk towards the lake there is a nice bar and the staff were very helpful

Grindelwald Experience - Entire family went paragliding off of the top of First. Absolutely incredible experience. Exciting and relaxing at the same time. Remarkable views. Professional guides. Efficient gondola ride. Also did the First cliff walk. Wonderful experience. The Grindelwald area was a terrific place to vacation for an entire week.

Jaw-Dropping Views! - The smoothest gondola I have ever rode but you are not at all focused on that, you are focused on pressing your eyes up against the windows. Visited in mid May weather was in the 40*s Fahrenheit and there was quite a bit of snow at the top so dress accordingly and wear waterproof shoes/boots. The hike to Lake Oeschinen was "closed" at this time as well and the lake itself was frozen over. The entire visit was a bucket list checker, the zipline was so much fun and the Cliff Walk definitely tested your nerves even though it felt very sturdy. I would buy tickets ahead of time at jungfrau.ch as well as get there early as lines do fill up quickly and you do not want to spend all day waiting when there is so much to do.

Wonderful views. - A great experience. First, go up by cable car and discover as you climb, beautiful landscapes and towns as if you were in a story.

Grindelwald First Worth Taking in - This is another of those "must do" activities when you are in the area. There are lots of options to add to this activity if you wish. Book in advance for those extra activities. You should consider 3 day pass option as well as discount cards.

Skip this place! - Where to begin with this poorly organized mess of a tourist trap. First, it’s not clear where to buy tickets once you’re at the top. Signage to various attractions isn’t clearly marked. Lines are ridiculous cause they don’t have enough capacity for the flow of guests. Very little shade. My advice is to skip it.
