Hope you have Vik! - Wonderful tour! Great contact with nature and getting to go to so many places and see so much of the beautiful peninsula in such a consolidated amount of time. Our tour guide Vik and bus driver were excellent. Excellent option for cruise travelers.

I can thoroughly recommend this trip - An efficient friendly guide, wonderful scenery, very comfortable coach and a pleasure from beginning to end. It was so easy to pick up the coach after landing off the shuttle and we were able to board early.

Nice Day - Great tour that hit the highlights of the area. David did a great job! I had originally scheduled small group tour for same itinerary and was notified we would be on different bus so I cancelled and rebooked. I figure since there were only 2 of us some other person had a larger group and we got ditched. Large bus not full but less expensive.. it worked out and we had a nice day.

Beautiful scenery,... - Beautiful scenery, waterfalls, lave fields, black rock beach. Need better arrangements for quick food stop. Too crowded and not enough time to grab something.

Good tour - Lots of rugged terrain, walking up and down very, rocky steep paths. That was not indicated on description

Great tour - We were an hour late leaving because of our cruise ship. Everyone was so thankful that they waited for us to get to shore. A few stops were cut short but we had a beautiful, clear day with incredible sights. The guide and driver were very entertaining and made sure that we made it back before the last tender.

Nice tour, just not worth the price - The tour guide was informative and very personable. The driver maneuvered the comfortable bus confidently and safely. The scenery and tour stops were pretty, but there really isn't much to see or do on the peninsula. This tour is priced too high. It should be priced between 30 to 50% less. A better bet would be to stay in Reykjavik and do the Golden Circle and/or South Coast tours.

Disappointed - Disappointed due to an unfortunate situation at the beginning of the trip when we were directed by our guide to move out of the seat we chose to the very back of the bus.

Low value - Too expensive for what we saw : we should do more stops for this price. However the guide was very nice

I was conned - After assuring me that this tour was for cruises and that they would wait for us, they left our group of 4 3 minutes before we arrived. I had called from the tender to let them know that we were on the way, but they left anyway. I would understand if I had not cancelled the tour because I thought that it was too tight a time frame. We contacted the local operator and he said that this was set up for cruises, but to hurry as quickly as possible. So I re-purchased this expensive tour with that reassurance. We got in the tender ticket line 1 hr before they started handing them out and we were on tender 5 (I did my due diligence.). Of course, cruise tours get first priority. We had friends change from their time of an hour later to our time because of this assurance from the local operator. We were running an hour late to the meeting point. However, there was an 12:30 and 1:30 tour times. We were 3 minutes late for the 1:30 time and I called from the tender to let them know that we were going to be there. I called the company after we were on the dock and had frantically ran around looking for the bus. Talking to Bus Travel Iceland, they said that we were just too late and they had a schedule to keep. I asked what they could do it help us. Their answer... nothing. Could they recommend another tour?. They could not What did they suggest that we do? Walk around the town. Go to the supermarket and the church. I explained the reassurances that I got from them (we have the emails) and that we should receive a partial refund. They were not willing to refund us 1 dime and have charged us $433 for believing them. We have been conned and I need Viator to intervene in this situation.
