Thiago was absolutely amazing! - If you are visiting Guadalajara, this tour is a must! Its a fantastic mix of historical sightseeing and visiting various different places for the most authentic and delicious street food. Thiago was an absolute pleasure to have as a guide. He was incredibly patient with us and took the time to answer any questions we had. My favourite food stop were definitely the fish and shrimp tacos stop. I dont care where in the world you're from - i can promise you you've never had a fish taco like the ones they had there. The tortas are strongly recommended as well, with a unique and interesting story of how they were invented. Overall, 10/10 would definitely do this tour again!

Spectacular street food with cultural history sprinkled in! - We had such a great experience trying a wide variety of street foods - freshly made tortillas, bean and potato tacos, burritas (smaller burritos), birria tacos, fish tacos - so many wonderful flavors! As an added bonus, we were able to sample some local fruit that is only in season this time of year - dragonfruit, wild plum, and more. Important tip - come hungry!! We only had 1 of each thing and were completely full and then some afterward! Our guide Santiago was a very gracious and interesting host. He gave us so much information about the local history and culture as we walked through the pretty streets of Centro Historico. He also showed us some beautiful murals at the city hall building that depict the founding of Guadalajara. It was all quite fascinating and his enthusiastic and descriptive explanations were delivered expertly. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone seeking a perfect balance of yummy food and cultural history all in one!

Great foodie fun! - Had such a great time with Tlane - she was really outgoing, kind, and knowledgeable. The market was a great experience, especially with an insider who knows the best spots to eat + check out. Everything was so tasty, especially the menudo! I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting GDL for the first time. (Heads up, bring cash as the food isn't covered in the tour price.)

City Food Tour - This was a wonderful experience filled with delicious food! Our tour guide Thiago was extremely knowledgeable about the city and took us to local vendors in the area. We tried various snacks such grasshoppers and pine bugs. We ate fresh fruit like sweet limes and wild plums. Thiago even took us to a special street food market that is only open on Monday nights. The food was amazing and so many different dishes to try. We ate ourselves into a food coma. This was a worthwhile experience for our first night in the city!

Great food and cool guide! - Tlane was our travel guide and she was amazing! She knew a lot of knowledge about not only the city but the street food scene and gave some great tips and suggestions on where we could eat while in the city. I initially had some concerns about eating street food and at the market, but she put us at ease immediately with her recommendations. My son did the tour with me, and as a teenager he’s typically a picky eater, but he ate everything at every stop (4 stops-including desert). Tlane’s passion for the city, the culture and the food was very obvious. Next time we’re in the city we will definitely book her again.

3 peso tacos - Thiago talked us through the historic central, its side streets, and Mercado Libertad - San Juan de Dios, the biggest market in town. There are street foods, 3 peso tacos, unique fruits, sweets, and so many more. Awesome experience! Even my teenage kids enjoyed it.
