Best way to get an intro to Guadalajara! - What a great way to get to know the city! Diego provided the perfect amount of history and storytelling to help us get acclimated to the city. We covered a lot of ground (physically and historically) but with his pacing and easy-going manner, the time passed quickly. Diego speaks excellent English (sometimes an issue with tour guides; they can be hard to understand) and clearly loves this city he knows so well. We were really happy with this tour and would strongly recommend Diego to anyone coming to town. I understand he also does customized tours (food in the market, architecture, etc) which would be fun for a future visit!

Best tour guide - We very much enjoyed our time in Guadalajara. We took a couple of tours from different tour guides during our trip. Diego was by far the best your guide. He is the right balance historical knowledge and taking in the experience.

A great experience - Excellent visit to get to know Guadalajara in a way you could never do on your own. Very good selection of neighborhoods and the very pleasant walk with great explanations and a lot of history behind to better understand the evolution of the city from its founding to the present day. Unmissable walk in the market, dare to try a good “drowned cake” there. Diego also gives very good advice so you can continue to know the best of the city on your own and is adapting the way to the interests of the group making this visit very entertaining

Guadalajara Centro Historico Walking Tour with Diego - This tour is very in depth and informative without being too heavy. The pace is relaxed. Diego is a great guide. Diego kept things interesting and answered questions when asked. Diego was more than happy to take pictures at any and all sites. As a surprise to me, Diego concluded the tour by visiting Mercado Libertad-San Juan de Dios. Diego's guidance through the mercado was amazing. A visit I might not have done on my own.

Best tour to avoid FOMO! - Diego does a wonderful walking tour taking you through the history of Guadalajara with an incredible knowledge and a wonderful sense of humor. We finished our tour with a one of the best meals of true local flavor in the large market. Our entire group, ranging in ages from twenties to seventies, had a fantastic time and would go off with Diego to explore any time.

Definitely Diego! - Diego showed up on time and was very personable. His tour was well paced, and he allowed us adequate breaks to sit and rest (we are in our 70s). His knowledge of art and architectural history is impressive, and of course, this made the tour thoroughly interesting.

Exceptional experience - Overall, I highly commend this tour without any reservation. I'm English speaker and Diego has done excellent job explaining the history, architectures and culture as a local. He lived in US and could relate some of the city vibes to US culture. Along the way, Diego took me to local coffee place, restaurant and shops (in the market), all of them are very authentic and reasonably priced. Since I'm solo traveler, he is very mindful about where to help me take pictures! After we finished the tour, Diego recommended a couple places for me to explore.
