Ajijic is the highlight of the day - It was a long day filled with nice experience. Really good tequila testing, visit to Lake Chapala , Ajijic and town of Chapala . Our guide Javier was really nice and made our day very comfortable despite the long drive. I would really recommend this tour.

Excellent to know Chapala and Ajijic - It is a very complete tour, we had the opportunity to know Lake Chapala in addition to other attractions in the area. Javier the very attentive and friendly guide always at the attention of the group. The food was very delicious and the tequila tasting very fun, give you to try about 7 different tequilas and tequila liquor. The return to Guadalajara takes time and traffic does not help much but apparently that is very common as I did another tour a day earlier and the same thing happened on the return, traffic at the entrance of Gdl is heavy, just be patient. The van we were transported in is quite comfortable and spacious. Drinks are included in the tour. All very well!

Lake Chapala - Javier was an excellent tour guide! Very informative, friendly and accommodating. He sent videos on the two villages of Ajijic and Chapala. He offered us beverages along the way and for our return ride back to Guadalajara.

Good to get a taste of Chapala region - Javier made it so great for us, he goes the extra mile for little things and has a lot of patience for people as in every tour you have the ones that are late or stubborn or drinking etc and he hat it put with all kinds of people. I really appreciated all the stops as itinerary say, food was good, we could’ve shortened that to make more time for Ajijic but all in general was great

A day full of fun - A great tour covering a number of different sites, with enough time to explore each on our own. The ranch of singer Vincento Fernandez, a tequila tasting, great lunch on the coast of Lake Chapala (with service there the only glitch), a pleasant boat ride, and towns of Ajijic and Chapala were highlights!

Unbelievable - Wow! This tour was so amazing. I had such a wonderful time as a solo traveler I made new friends. Our guide was amazing. So fun and funny and friendly. We had so many laughs and enjoyed amazing tequila. I cannot believe the experience I just had. I am just getting back to my room amazed and overjoyed with the experience.

Leisurely Day - Not much to do. Very leisurely experience. Visiting the towns let me see how much or how little there is to do there. Overall it was fine.

Too long a day for too little interesting places - First, the guides were super nice and I thought they did a decent job. There is very little information during the tour, more a let you go explore on your own kind of thing. There were several things I didn’t like. The first stop was a ranch of a famous Mexican singer and it was pretty but it was worth about 10 minutes to view and we were there for at least 45 including a stop at the cowboy clothing and leather shop which was not very interesting. Then to a low end tequila shop where there was no production but a tasting in a closed in room that was not pleasant so I opted out. There were some penned up dogs barking during the entire stay and they were annoying. Then off to lunch at an over-priced seafood place. The place has three stars on Google if that tells you anything. I got a 6” plate of poorly prepared fried fish with some lettuce on it. No sides at all and it was $12US. Margaritas were $5 US and there was a consensus with a couple next to me that the drinks had little alcohol in them. Service was slow and the menu was confusing with a lot of things for two people from the look of it. Then off to the dock for this ridiculous boat ride about a few hundred meters down the lakeshore and back in a rickety pontoon boat. No tour guides accompanied us. No drinks. Just this stupid boat ride with really nothing to see and nothing pointed out. By this time it was almost 4 pm and the tour had started at 10:30. We went on to Ajijic which was a cute little town that I enjoyed. Nice art stores. Great views of the lake which were much better than anything on that silly boat ride. Really nice zocalo. We stayed there about an hour before going to Chapala. By that time it was 6pm so the light was nice and beautiful views of the lake along a nice boardwalk. Lots of vendors and a people. It was nice. Headed back after an hour and we got back to Guadalajara at about 8:15. A SUPER long day for what really wasn’t a lot of sightseeing. I suppose the price was ok given that if you would have wanted to go by yourself an uber would have cost close to $40 and they did have some tequila in addition to the tasting I skipped so that was nice. And a complimentary drink after lunch. It was too long of a day for what you saw and very little interesting interpretation by the guides, but they were super nice. One of the stops you just got a link to a video with some info about the little town. Not even sure I got that. I would not recommend this tour.
