A little bit of Costa Rica - Manny was a great guide. He told us about the country and the wildlife. We saw crocodiles, monkeys, sloths, birds, butterflies and learned about coffee and chocolate production. We had an amazing time.

It was good - Our first excursion we did the river boating to see crocodiles , then cocoa / coffee farm tour/ taste . Walk through “rainforest “ to see “wild” sloths Then finished off a swim at blue lagoon . Overall it was ok. Our guide Fernando was amazing , truly loved his job and sharing his knowledge on local area / wildlife but the coffee / coca bean tour was a joke felt like it was a tourist money grab .coffee and chocolate didn’t come from farm and was WAY overpriced Nothing was grown there just a Few trees in someone’s backyard . The roads here are horrific many potholes be prepared to be sore afterwards ! Josh G

Bucket list trip - This trip was absolutely awesome! Seeing sloths was on my bucket list, and I was not disappointed! Manny was an incredible guide—super informative, made sure we knew exactly what we were doing, and clearly knows his stuff. The food was amazing, the trail to the waterfall was beautiful, and getting to see how coffee and cocoa are made was such a cool experience. So glad we did this—highly recommend!

Great nature experience. The coffee tour was not the best. They seemed to rush us through. - Great trip! Our guide was terrific. I think his name was Emanuel . Great with all the nature sittings along with pointing out the sloths. Bus driver was great also. The roads were very rough.

Deceiving Tour en Barco por Palo Verde. - We did the Tour en Barco por Palo Verde. This tour promises you a boat ride on a river where crocodiles and more wild life will show up. Though the guide wasn't very fluent in French, he knew very well his material and made it very interesting for our whole group of 16. Definitely overpriced for a little boat tour of barely over one hour on the water. Going there and come back took more time than the tour itself zipping around a network of dirt roads in the countryside through sugar cane plantations. Would not recommend if you're not up to that kind of experience.

Beware of dishonest sales person - Booking this was easy and the actual trip was amazing. The person that works in the resort at planet Hollywood Costa Rica is the rudest salesperson I’ve ever met though. We were recommended to buy bug spray, amongst other things, so we bought the recommended products to find out that we can’t bring it into the national Park. So we bought a $30 product that I can’t put in my carry on because they recommended we did. When I returned from the trip I went to them with the unused product and explained we can’t bring this product into the national park. He said well we didn’t make you buy it, it was recommended and I said did you know we can’t bring it into the park. To which he said yes, I told him he should have disclosed that and allowed me to make the decision. He said he won’t apologize for doing his job. This is being dishonest and misleading, allowing me to make purchases that you know that I will not be able to use. As a matter of fact, the tour guide gave everyone a leaf and told us to rub it on our exposed areas to keep the bugs away. Naturally and free. The man I dealt with was dishonest, no customer services skills at all. The hotel manager of the actual store eventually got involved and helped remove the charge. I would suggest asking questions and on vacation no one wants to investigate before buying something. To anyone going into a national Park- you can’t bring bug spray and they do check your bag. To the hotel- he needs customer service training- he was working at 7pm on 3/23 and 8am 3/24 Manuel maybe?
