Animal Sanctuary and Sloth Haven! - We visited specifically for the Animal Sanctuary. After a drive up a long dirt road, we purchased tickets at the impressive welcome center. While the ~$50 per person price tag initially felt steep, the experience was ultimately worth it. Highlights: • Diverse Wildlife: We saw howler monkeys, frogs, snakes, big cats, butterflies, and monkeys. • The Sloths: Seeing the sloths (especially Lucy!) was a major highlight. • Pro Tip: Time your visit for the feedings (9:30, 12:30, or 3:30). Seeing them active during these times made the experience; otherwise, it might have been a letdown. Note on Logistics: The shuttle didn't return to pick us up, resulting in a 10-minute hike back to the center in the heat. While the kids weren't thrilled, it was a short walk and a good way to get some movement in. Overall, a great stop if you are in the Tamarindo/Northern Guanacaste area!

Highly recommend! - We had our own car so we purchased our tickets online. The 09 30 zip line tour worked perfectly, we arrived at 9am for a quick check in. There was about 20 of us who lined together. Ages 5 to 70 in our group. Some shuttles in between the lines, all smooth & efficient. It took us two hours to do all five lines. Age 55, this was my first zip line experience and I felt very safe. The guys at each encounter were so friendly. Smiles all around. Yes I did the Superman! After zip-lining we were able to walk thru and see the sloths, moneys, butterflies, etc. very nicely done. A small food shop accessible. We shuttled back to reception and enjoyed a wonderful buffet lunch; salad bar was fresh, watermelon, pizza, and french fries for kids. A really nice gift shop, prices very pricey. The only disappointing is two of our friends woke up sick and they had paid for horseback riding and there is absolutely no refunds. A really nice gift shop, prices very pricey.

Wonderful Experience - We had a great time on the cultural tour at Diamante! The staff were all amazing, very friendly. We loved seeing all the animals and enjoying some of the flavors of Costa Rican culture. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area and don't skip the buffet lunch!

Cultural tour - Even though it was very hot and we got our exercise we found this adventure to be great. The young lady giving the coffee, coco, and sugar cane demonstration was excellent along with the guy with her.

Great daughter in Guanacaste. - The cultural experience was awesome. The presenter has clearly lived the life. The animal sanctuary, with the professionals to share information, was also awesome. The luncheon was unexpectedly lively with the view and breeze as incredible bonuses. Incredibly organized transitions. Disappointed we didnt do more. There is so much on offer! Only downside is the highways to get there from the Guanacaste beaches.

Cultural experience - The signage was not good. Difficult to get to where you wanted to go. The best experience was with Kenneth at the cultural center explaining coffee making, sugar cane juice and chocolate. It was also the worse as the location was very steep and uneven getting there. It was neat to see the sloths and other animals. The girls in the butterfly exhibit were friendly and knowledgeable.
