• Guanacaste Province - Embark on a 1 hour and 30-minute hike through a rainforest national park to witness a stunning blue sky waterfall. Following this, we take a 15-minute drive to enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch. Afterward, we begin our hike at the sloth observatory, where you can spot two-toed and three-toed sloths, toucans, monkeys, frogs, birds, and more. This hike lasts approximately 1 hour.

Visitors should bring towels, a raincoat, hiking shoes or rent boots at the park, bug spray, binoculars, a camera, and cash for extras.

The hike to the Celeste River offers a unique natural spectacle where the river and its rocks transform into a light blue hue. This occurs due to minerals that are washed from the ground into the river, a result of the river’s location on the slopes of the dormant Tenorio Volcano and the remaining vents from its depths.

The journey continues downstream to a breathtaking encounter with a massive waterfall that cascades down the volcano’s sides.

Venture off the beaten path to the stunning “Llanos de Cortez Waterfall.” This hidden gem stands 30 feet high and 40 feet wide, tumbling into a white sand pond. Enjoy swimming, hiking, or simply unwinding in this serene setting.
