After getting up the hill, you will have a breathtaking view on top of the mountain. You will keep driving crossing rivers and visiting Buena Vista Beach and end up to Barrigona Beach where you can have a swim and end up the tour by watching an amazing sunset. Your guide will point out the wildlife along the way and prepare fresh fruits for you to enjoy at a white sand beach. After the sunset, you will start making your way back to the office before it get too dark!

Favorite activity in Costa Rica! - My family of 4 (kids ages 12 & 10) all agree that the ATV tour we did in Playa Samara with Outback was our favorite activity during our vacation to Costa Rica! We did the Sunset & Wildlife ATV Tour, and we visited Playa Barrigona and Playa Buena Vista. Our tour guide was excellent!! We were able to stop to check out monkies in trees, and we were able to explore the beaches that we visited at our own pace. AND we were lucky enough to see an amazing sunset. This was an unforgettable experience - the wild landscape and forests we drove through to reach the beaches were absolutely stunning. The folks at the Samara Info Center were very helpful with setting up this tour for us!

Amazing - This was supposed to be the ATV mountain and beach tour, but they asked us if we wanted to go at 3pm instead, and we said sure. I’m so glad we did!! What a great time! Our guide (I’m sorry I didn’t get his name but apparently he always leads this tour) was so personable and accommodating. Driving the ATV (I’d never done that before) was a blast! And the beaches we went to were incredible, and since we didn’t rent a car we probably wouldn’t have gotten to see these beaches on our own. Player Barrigona (the Mel Gibson Beach)was exceptionally beautiful. The pineapple snack at the beach was a really nice touch. And OMG the sunset at the end was absolutely spectacular!

Great ATV experience - Amazing experience. The arcs were fun, views were amazing, and our guide was very kind and even served us pineapple. Everything was great and would highly recommend.

Best moment of the week! - We had a blast revving through the back country on an ATV! As first time ATV pilots, Derek was a great guide for us and he even introduced us to the glories of putting Tajin on your fresh pineapple! This was one of the highlights of our week in Sámara!

Amazing sunset, great tour company! - Our tour guide was amazing! The tour company was very friendly and flexible with our booking when we needed to change the date last minute.

ATV Sunset Tour - New Yamaha ATVs. The guides were knowledgeable and friendly, took us on roads and trails across rivers, up the low mountains, and to a couple of secluded beaches. Saw some cattle way back in the hills, as well as monkeys and birds. Watch out for the steep river bank!

Intermediate to advanced route - Definitely an intermediate to advanced route they take you on, especially through the river and the jungle portion. There are some spots that were a bit scary as a beginner who has never driven an ATV before.
