- Li River - Guilin is renowned for its breathtaking beauty, attributed to its distinctive Karst landscapes. Interestingly, when people mention visiting Guilin, they often refer to exploring the surrounding areas rather than Guilin city itself. This typically includes Yangshuo and Longsheng, which have become popular in recent years.
Itinerary:
7:30–8:30: Pick up from Guilin hotel and transfer to the Caoping river pier. (For those in the Yangshuo area, transfer to the Xingping river pier).
8:30–9:30: Delight in a brief Li River cruise on a small boat.
9:30–11:30: Transfer to the Longji rice terraces.
11:30–15:30: Explore the Ping’an or Dazhai terraces area, with an option to enjoy lunch there.
15:30–17:30: Return to the hotel, airport, or train station.
Note: Children under 7 years old or shorter than 1.2 meters are not permitted on the small boat.
Senior individuals over 70 years old are also not allowed on the small boat.
- Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - Following the Li River small boat tour, transfer to Longji Ping’an village, which requires a 2-hour drive. During the Longji tour, visit the Long Hair village and Ping’an village, including the terraces, with an opportunity to have lunch at Ping’an village.
