Guangzhou - An English-speaking driver will meet you in the hotel lobby at approximately 08:30 AM. You will be driven to the renowned Wuzhou arcade, a journey of about 3.5 hours covering 256KM.

Qilou Building - After opening to the outside world in 1897, Wuzhou became the commercial hub of Guangxi. In the 1920s, ancient buildings were demolished to extend the streets, replacing original houses with arcades. The ancient city, located east of the river, features a continuous stretch of Arcade Buildings. There are 560 buildings that blend Chinese and Western styles across 22 Arcade Building Streets. This area once hosted over 1,500 shops, attracting numerous businessmen.

The architecture of Wuzhou arcade buildings showcases many iconic Chinese design elements, such as Catherine Wheel, tile carvings, and memorial archways. The second floors of these buildings feature iron rings and water gates, symbolizing Wuzhou’s wet climate.

Dragon Mother Temple - Next, visit the Dragon Mother Temple, constructed during the Northern Song dynasty to honor the dragon mother, a legendary female leader of the Southern Yue nationalities during the Warring States Period. Revered for her moral integrity and assistance to those in need, she is considered the mother of the dragon’s descendants (the Chinese). The temple was rebuilt during the Ming & Qing dynasties and expanded in the 1980s. It spans 5,000 square meters and includes the gateway, front & rear halls, temporary imperial hall, corridor, pavilion, and stone tortoise pond. The Dragon Mother Temple is a famous historical site in southeastern Guangxi, drawing thousands of tourists and devotees from around the world.

Wuzhou - Finally, you will be escorted back to your hotel in Wuzhou.

Wuzhou - Hezhou - Guilin/Yangshuo. The tour ends.

Wuzhou - In the morning, your driver will pick you up from the hotel at around 09:00 AM and escort you to Huangyao Old Town in Hezhou.

Huangyao Ancient Town - Featuring a typical karst landscape, the old town is surrounded by magnificent hills, towering trees, and clear streams. It resembles a primitive and simple village with various pavilions, temples, ancestral halls, and ancient trees. Upon arrival, explore this tranquil town by visiting the old folk houses. Over 300 old residences line the narrow streets, each built and decorated in the Ming and Qing Dynasties’ style. While the ancient town offers many local delicacies, lunch is not included in the package tour. Your driver will gladly recommend restaurants based on your preferences. After lunch, continue exploring hidden spots and sights in the old town, such as the Immortal Ancient Well, Dailong Bridge, An’le Temple, The Ancient Opera Stage, and “Dragon Claw” Banyan.

Yangshuo County - The entire visit to Huangyao Ancient Town, including lunch, takes about 3.5 hours. You will then be escorted back to your hotel in Yangshuo, a 1.5-hour drive covering 130km.
