Guangzhou - The guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby around 09:00 AM. They will be taken to the renowned Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a 30-minute drive away.
Chen Clan Ancestral Hall-Folk Craft Museum - Built in 1894 during the Qing Dynasty by 72 Chen families, this academic temple served as accommodation and preparation space for juniors taking imperial exams. The complex showcases traditional Canton architecture, with intricate decorations inside and outside, including wood, stone, and brick carvings, pottery, plaster, and iron engravings.
Shamian Island - Guests will then travel by private car to Shamian Island to explore the European-style architecture, a former British and French colony from 100 years ago. The guide will take them to a local restaurant to enjoy delicious Cantonese Dim Sum for lunch.
Qingping Medicine Market - After lunch, guests will visit Qingping Market, located at the intersection of Qingping Street and Tiyun Street along the Pearl River. This large-scale market covers 11,200 square meters (120,000 square feet) with over 1,200 booths, offering a wide variety of products including agricultural goods, Chinese herbal medicines, seafood, dried fruits, flowers, birds, and fish. It has been visited by government officials from over 40 countries, including the United States, Britain, France, Germany, and Japan, who found it a delightful experience. Visitors can purchase various agricultural products, experience local life, and explore ancient trading methods.
Hualin Temple - Next, guests will visit Hualin Temple (Hualin Si) in Guangzhou, Guangdong province. This ancient temple, built about 1,400 years ago during the Southern Dynasties (420-581 AD), was expanded and renamed Hualin Temple in 1654. It was one of the five largest Buddhist temples in Guangzhou, housing a large community of monks. The Five-Hundred-Arhat Hall, constructed during the last year of Emperor Daoguang (1821-1861), features lifelike statues of Arhats in various postures and moods, as well as a statue of Marco Polo, the Italian explorer who visited China in the thirteenth century. The King Asoka Pagoda is located in the center of the hall.
Lychee Bay Scenic Area - Guests will then transfer to Lychee Bay, a popular tourist destination in Guangzhou, especially for those wanting to experience authentic Lingnan culture and customs. Lychee Bay is situated in the Pantang region, west of Liwan District in Guangzhou.
Guangzhou - Finally, the guide will escort guests back to their hotel.

Guangzhou - The guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby around 09:00 AM. They will be taken to the well-known Yuexiu Park, a 30-minute drive away.
Yuexiu Park - Yuexiu Park is the largest park in downtown Guangzhou, covering 860,000 square meters (212.5 acres). It features three artificial lakes and seven hills of Yuexiu Mountain, hence its name. Visitors can see the Five-Ram Sculpture and Zhenhai Tower in the park.
Museum of the Western Han Dynasty Mausoleum of the Nanyue King - After visiting Yuexiu Park, guests will transfer to the Nan Yue Kingdom Tomb Museum, the oldest and largest Han tomb with the most funerary objects in the Lingnan (South of the Nanling Mountain) Area. As one of the 80 famous museums in the world, it spans 14,000 square meters (150,699.6 square feet) with 10 exhibition halls.
Canton Tower - Next, guests will visit the Canton Tower, located at the intersection of Guangzhou New City Central Axes and Pearl River. Standing 600 meters tall, with a 450-meter main body and a 150-meter antenna, it is the tallest tower in China and the third tallest in the world. The Canton Tower is more than just a sightseeing TV tower; it is a new symbol and image of Guangzhou. Visitors will enjoy a unique and magnificent experience at this new landmark.
Guangzhou Railway Station - Finally, the guide will escort guests to Guangzhou railway station, where they can take the D2842 train from 18:10 to 20:52 to Guilin. The train journey takes approximately 3 hours.
Guilin North Railway Station Parking Lot - Upon arrival in Guilin, guests will be picked up promptly and transferred to their hotel (driver only, no guide).
Guilin - Longji rice terraces. O/N Ping’an village.
Guilin - The guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby around 08:30 AM. They will be taken to the famous Reed Flute Cave, a 30-minute drive away.
Reed Flute Cave (Ludi Yan) - Upon arrival at the cave, guests will enter the underground karst cave and marvel at the stunning formations of stalagmites and stalactites. The Reed Flute Cave is a renowned karst cave with numerous stalagmites and stalactites shaped like bamboo shoots, pillars, curtains, and flowers, creating a magnificent underground palace. Inside the cave, visitors can discover more astonishing sights, such as stone lions, miniature forests, pagodas, and crystal chambers, each with a romantic or interesting story. The guide’s vivid interpretation, along with the lighting, adds mystery to the scene. The cave tour lasts about 40 minutes.
Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces - After a two-hour drive, guests will reach the entrance to the Longji Terraces, where they will purchase Longji entrance tickets for the rice terraces in Ping’an Village. The Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces is a spectacular agricultural marvel with a history of over 650 years. The most captivating part of the terrace cluster is the Ping’an Village Rice Terrace, the first one discovered by tourists and photographers. Numerous narrow rice fields carved along the hill slopes form terraces connected by winding flagstone trails. Viewing platforms allow visitors to see the entire terrace fields built tier upon tier. While there, guests can also experience the traditional way of life of the minority Zhuang people. It is quite interesting to help them in the fields, try on their brightly colored ethnic costumes, and visit their unique stilted houses.
Ping’an Village - Upon arrival, guests will take a moderate trek along steps to Ping’an Zhuang Village. The walk takes about 40 minutes. The guide will lead a stroll around the village, where guests can glimpse the local Zhuang people’s unique wooden stilted houses and enjoy lunch in the village. After a short lunch break, guests will continue their terrace exploration to the No.2 Viewing Platform (Seven Star with the Moon), a 15-minute walk, which offers a fantastic spot for a bird’s-eye view of the Longji Terraces below. There will be ample time to take pictures and enjoy the fresh air at the platform. Then, guests will head to the No.1 Viewing Platform (Nine Dragons and Five Tigers), a 30-minute walk along a flat path. Afterwards, guests will check in at a hotel in Ping’an and have free time.
Longji - Sanjiang - Yangshuo. O/N Yangshuo.
Ping’an Village - Today, guests will embark on a Dong Minority tour to the Dong Village in Sanjiang. Nestled at the foot of mountains and surrounded by rivers, Dong Village features well-preserved residential houses and a charming natural landscape.
Chengyang Bridge Scenic Resort - In the village, guests will see the landmark constructions of Dong Village, the Wind and Rain Bridge, and Drum Tower. Built with wood and bricks, the Wind and Rain Bridge combines the styles of a bridge, corridor, and kiosk, reflecting the unique Dong style and the wisdom of the Dong people. Originally built to provide shelter for field workers, it later became a meeting place for young people and a popular attraction for visitors from around the world. The lofty pointed tower with upturned eaves signifies arrival at a Dong Village. The Drum Tower, always located in the center of a village, serves as the political and cultural center. When the village chief beats the drum on the top floor, villagers stop their work and gather around the Drum Tower.
Yangshuo County - After lunch at Chengyang Village, guests will enjoy a comfortable 3-hour car ride to their Yangshuo hotel, where they can rest.

Yangshuo County - In the morning, the guide will meet guests at 9 AM and take them to the Yangshuo countryside.
Yulong River - Guests will then cycle or ride an E-bike along the Yulong River to immerse themselves in the local idyllic landscape for 2-3 hours. Along the way, they will see vast farmlands dotted with colorful wildflowers and log cabins, stretching from the foot of rolling hills. Occasionally, peasants driving one or two oxen plow the fields, adding vitality to the rustic scenery.
Fuli Ancient Town - After a lunch break, guests will drive for an hour to Xingping Dock for a motorized raft journey on the Li River. En route, they will pass by Fuli Town, known for its traditional handicraft of painted fans. If interested, guests can make a short stop there.
Xingping Town - Upon arrival at Xingping Dock, guests will board the motorized raft. A ride on the Li River is a must-do on a Guilin Yangshuo day tour. Compared to ordinary ships, the raft—a traditional means of transportation seating four people—offers a wider view and is the best way to enjoy the picturesque natural scenery. During the one-hour raft ride, guests will see famous spots, including the Yellow Cloth Shoal depicted on the CNY20 banknote, and Murals Hill, where verdant plants form images of nine horses on a sharp cliff.
Important Tips: Due to safety concerns, people over age 70 and children under 1 meter tall are not allowed to take the Li River boat raft.
Yangshuo County - After the boat tour, guests can explore Xingping Old Street before being dropped off at their Yangshuo hotel. There is an optional night show in Yangshuo, ‘Impression Sanjie Liu,’ performed above and on the Li River against verdant hills. The dreamlike stage effects and original singing and dancing of national minorities have earned the performance a great reputation among visitors. The show begins at 20:00 and lasts for 70 minutes; ticket prices range from CNY 268 to CNY 368, depending on the seats. If interested, the guide will reserve tickets and escort guests to the site after dinner.
Yangshuo. The tour ends.
Yangshuo County - In the morning, the guide and driver will pick up guests from the hotel around 09:00 AM and escort them to the Yulong River, where they will start the Yangshuo Yulong bamboo boat tour.
Yulong River - Taking a bamboo raft ride on the Yulong River (or Dragon River), a tributary of the Li River, offers a relaxing way to enjoy the scenic area south of Yangshuo. Guests can enjoy stunning scenery and views of country life on a non-motorized raft, steered by a gondolier over breakwaters past small mud-brick villages and farmlands. Once on the bamboo raft, guests can sit back and enjoy the peaceful countryside and limestone mountains. Even if they have cycled the area, the view from the river is different. The boat ride lasts for 50 minutes, one way.
Xianggong Mountain - After the Yulong bamboo boat ride, guests will be driven to see Yangshuo Xianggong Hill. They will climb for 15 minutes along a moderately sloped staircase to reach the top of Xianggong Hill. Guests should inform the guide in advance if they need a walking stick. Located between the famous Yellow Cloth Shoal and Mural Hill, Xianggong Hill is one of the best viewing platforms in Guilin to admire the beauty of the Li River. The breathtaking view of the meandering Li River making a 180-degree bend attracts countless visitors and photographers annually.
Yangshuo County - Finally, the guide will escort guests to their Yangshuo/Guilin hotel or Guilin airport/train station, marking the end of the 6-day tour services.
