Excellent service, punctual and impeccable and comfortable units - We took a private tour to Tikal and the next day to Yaxha. The service was excellent, punctual, the units imñecable and the driver very correct. We are happy to have had Tikal Vip service

Really fun experience with a baby - It was a totally private tour, and the guide was super nice!! We took our daughter of 1 and half year old so we were worried if she would be really tired ( even us ) but it was totally fine because the guide didn’t rush us or anything so we could go in our pase.
He had so much knowledge about Tikal and I felt his passion about it! It was so much fun to know about the history and details of Tikal.
And our daughter enjoyed it so much! The guide was really kind to her too!
Moreover the restaurant was so good too, he took us one outside of the park.
We are so glad that we chose this tour. Thank you so much.

Perfect Family-Friendly Tour of Tikal – Educational, Comfortable, and Unforgettable! - We had an amazing experience with Tikal VIP Exclusive Tour! We were traveling as a family with three young kids, and everything was handled with care and professionalism from start to finish.
Our guide Elmer was outstanding—knowledgeable, kind, and incredibly patient with the kids. He brought the ruins of Tikal and the surrounding jungle to life, explaining everything in both English and Spanish so everyone could enjoy and understand the rich history and culture.
The transportation was excellent: clean, comfortable, and punctual. It made a big difference having such a smooth and well-organized tour, especially with children in tow.
This was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Guatemala. Highly recommend Tikal VIP to anyone looking for a personalized, family-friendly, and educational experience at Tikal!

Gem of a tour - Elmer is a gem of a tour guide. His knowledge, passion, experience and pride for his heritage made for an absolutely perfect excursion. Very patient and also a master off the beaten path, he showed us tons of wildlife in addition to all the temples.
DO NOT MISS this tour.
Also huge shout-out to Phidias (sorry for the Greek spelling) our awesome driver.

Is it worth it? - We usuelly tend to explore on our own, but this tour was truly amazing: without Elmer we would have missed some really essential parts of the Tikal experience. He is an expert guide because apart from his significant knowledge and expertise of the archeological site and Mayan culture he also made sure to provide the perfect suspense. We started at a smaller temple/pyramid, which we could climb and had all to ourselves ( off the beaten track ), before approaching the main plaza through the king‘s palace (instead of the main road). Elmer also saved the highest structures with the most stunning views until the very end, so that every sight we saw was even more spectacular than the previous one! On top, we got to see a lot of wildlife that we would have missed without Elmer… it felt like a safari ! It is worth every penny/Quetzal! Thank you, Elmer, for an experience of a lifetime! And thanks Anibal for the safe and expert driving and chosing a fantastic restaurant for lunch !

A jaw-dropping experience - Sergio, our driver, got us to and from Tikal quickly and safely. Elmer, our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and very adaptive to my families needs. This tour was worth every penny, and having a private tour guide made the tour much more enriching. You can tell that our guide and driver were prepared, thorough, and experienced. Our lunch was a fantastic meal at a beautiful restaurant which completed the day. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, even families with young children.

Perfect Day at Tikal with the Best Guide - Elmer was the best tour guide I’ve ever had in my travels. He was extremely knowledgeable on geology, archeology, history, local places of interest, etc. He arrived a few minutes before our departure time, was very organized, provided an excellent lunch and plenty of cold waters for the warm day. The route he chose to take us on through the park was perfect, ensuring we saw the ruins as well as the impressive wildlife. Elmer’s English was excellent and he is licensed by the government to conduct tours, which means he not only has extensive education on the subject matter but also spent approximately a year passing rigorous tests to earn this position within the country. I would 100% recommend this tour and hope I can return to do others in the future.
We had a separate driver for this trip as well, Annibal. Annibal was a great driver, very safe, friendly and accommodating. He always opened our doors for us and was very punctual. Thank you Annibal!

Amazing tour! Elmer is the best and taught us so much! Must experience yourself! - I am so happy we scheduled this private tour. Completely worth it. Elmer was so knowledgeable and friendly. They (drive and Elmer) were on time picking us up. A wonderful lunch was offered in which we could chose our food and even the location. Elmer took us to places we would have never known about if we were on our own or in a big tour group. We witnessed rare animals/birds and interesting ancient pyramids and temples. He was patient and accommodating. I love that we learned so much about the Mayan culture/history. So eye opening. Very well organized and ran right on time as planned :)
