Guayaquil - This tour begins with a journey from Guayaquil to Cuenca. The first stop is a coastal farm where visitors can learn about various tropical products such as rice, sugar, bananas, and especially cacao, along with some insights into chocolate production.

El Cajas National Park - En route, enjoy a delicious traditional lunch before experiencing the stunning Andean landscape featuring mountains, lagoons, and Polylepis forests in Cajas National Park. Here, a walk of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes will lead to the final destination, Cuenca.

Cuenca - The tour’s first destinations are the artisan villages of Gualaceo and Chordeleg. These small towns in the province of Azuay are renowned for their diverse crafts. The locals are celebrated for their exquisite jewelry, the development of renowned clubs, and their pottery skills.

On this day, the guide will share the history of the city, visiting landmarks such as the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (New Cathedral) and the charming Plaza de las Flores. The tour includes walks through beautiful neighborhoods and the traditional city. Additionally, enjoy a visit to the August 10 Market to admire the variety of fruits, vegetables, and the vibrant attire of traditional Cuencanas Cholas.

Centro Historico de Alausi - At 07:00 am, the guide will pick up participants for a trip to Alausi, where a brief excursion to the train station and central park of Alausi will take place.

Chimborazo Province - After exploring Alausi, the tour continues to Balbanera Church (the oldest church in Ecuador) and Colta Lagoon. Following lunch, if the weather permits, there will be a walk around the first refuge at Chimborazo (4800 meters above sea level). Overnight accommodation will be in Riobamba, with optional free time to explore its historical center.

Baños

Baños - At 08:00 am, after breakfast, the tour proceeds to the delightful city of Baños to explore the famous “Av. De las Cascadas.” After visiting the Pailon del Diablo waterfall, participants can enjoy a thrilling cable car ride. The tour then continues to the Casa del Arbol viewpoint, with an optional “Swing at the End of the World” experience. The day concludes with a return to Baños for relaxation at the hotel or an optional massage (extra charge applies).
