Coffee, redwoods and wine on a beautiful October day! - Best Bay Area Tours provided a great experience seeing the Armstrong Redwoods, the Golden Gate Bridge, everything along the way and the wine pairing meal.. Our excursion was in a van which was a little more personable with a small group with our guide Calder. Calder was a wealth of knowledge and background of everywhere we went and experienced including knowledge of local and imported plants as we travelled and at the wineries gardens. The winery included as many items as possible from the garden, farm to fork, which was perfect as they adapted the menu to our plant based lifestyle. And the wine, of course, was excellent. This was a great experience with a really great guide, Calder, we highly recommend and would absolutely do it again.

Having a local tour guide doing the tour was the best experience - With Steve as our guide we were able to get wonderful, once in a lifetime photo opportunities without the crowds. He took the time to personalize rather than shuffle us like a herd of cattle.

A tour not to be missed if you love wine and good food - We had the most amazing time on this tour. Phil was an excellent guide. First we visited the Giant Redwoods where we had a lovely peaceful walk around the Park. It’s so calm and relaxing in there. Then we visited the Kendall Jackson Winery where we saw their pristine flower and vegetable garden plus a large selection of different grape vines. The meal was delicious and we had a very enjoyable lunch time with our fellow travel companions. We thoroughly recommend this tour.

Perfect 1 Day Vday Getaway - The hubby and I did this for Valentine’s Day and had a great time. The hike was around 1-2 miles and very walkable, and the lunch was delicious. It was nice not to drive and just enjoy the scenery. Kurt was very knowledgeable about history and surrounding area. Do recommend for those looking to play tourist for the weekend outside of the city.

Highly recommend (Kurt was great)!! - Kurt was an excellent tour guide! He is an SF native and was informative, engaging and attentive. The day was perfect - our hike through the redwoods was incredible, the lunch at KJ was delicious and fun, and the stops on our ride home at Fort Baker and Palace of Fine Arts were absolutely beautiful. We loved the other tour participants, we all got along and Kurt made the day just perfect. Highly recommend!!

This is your sign to book it - This is your sign to book this experience!!!! We had such a great time, our guide, Kurt, was amazing. The experience at Kendall Jackson was also incredible. My boyfriend is a sommelier and he was really impressed by all the wines we had + the explanations at Kendall Jackson (our waiter Kihorne was wonderful too). The tour was also not full so we were only 4 persons in our group!

Would definitely book with Bay Area Tours again! Loved this experience! - Just spent 4 days in San Francisco and this redwoods and winery lunch was definitely the highlight for me. Kurt was super friendly and informative on the drive to both locations. The state nature reserve was beautiful and peaceful. And the 5 course lunch at the Kendall-Jackson vineyard was a truly awesome way to end an already amazing day. And, our server at K-J was great! I forget his name but he made the whole experience extra special. Highly recommend!!

A fantastic day, well worth it - David picked us up and we headed to the Redwoods and onto the beautiful Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate. The Redwoods were indeed magnificent but I didn't dress appropriately and it was raining and wet so I didn't spend the time I would have liked to avoid freezing. My fault. The Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate was something else. They have the most magnificent organic garden and produce there. The food was second to none and the wine delicious. The staff were great and very knowledgable. David was a very nice guide. A fantastic day was had by my wife and I

Amazing redwoods, food and company! - Walking through the very green, fragrant and peaceful Armstrong Woods. What a refreshing experience! The winery lunch was wonderful and the garden walk interesting. Good guides and very enjoyable fellow travelers. I’d love to do it all again in spring or fall.
