Guilin - An English-speaking driver will meet you in the hotel lobby at approximately 08:30 AM. You will then be driven to the renowned Huangyao Ancient Town, a journey of about 120 minutes.

Huangyao Ancient Town - This town, characterized by its typical karst landscape, is surrounded by magnificent hills, towering trees, and clear streams. It resembles a primitive and simple village with various pavilions, temples, ancestral halls, and ancient trees. Upon arrival, you will explore this tranquil town, starting with the old folk houses. There are over 300 ancient residences along the narrow streets, each built and decorated in the Ming and Qing Dynasties’ style. Although the town offers many local delicacies, lunch is not included in the package tour. However, your driver will be happy to recommend restaurants based on your preferences. After lunch, continue your exploration to discover more hidden gems and sights in the old town, such as the Immortal Ancient Well, Dailong Bridge, An’le Temple, The Ancient Opera Stage, and the “Dragon Claw” Banyan.

Wuzhou - The entire visit to Huangyao Ancient Town, including lunch, takes about 3.5 hours. Afterwards, you will be driven back to your hotel in Wuzhou, a 2.5-hour drive covering 170 km.

Wuzhou - In the morning, your driver will pick you up from the hotel around 09:00 AM and escort you to the arcade in Wuzhou.

Qilou Building - After opening to the outside world in 1897, Wuzhou became the business hub of Guangxi. In the 1920s, ancient buildings were demolished to extend the streets, and arcades replaced the original houses. The ancient city, located east of the river, features 560 buildings that blend Chinese and Western styles across 22 Arcade Building Streets. Many businessmen gathered here, and at one time, there were over 1,500 shops.

The appearance of Wuzhou’s arcade buildings showcases many representative Chinese architectural elements, such as Catherine Wheel, tile carving, and memorial archways. The second floors of these buildings feature iron rings and water gates, marking Wuzhou as a wet city.

Dragon Mother Temple - Next, visit the Dragon Mother Temple, built during the Northern Song dynasty to honor the dragon mother, a legendary woman chieftain of the Southern Yue nationalities during the Warring States Period. The dragon mother is revered for her moral integrity and assistance to those in need, earning her respect as the mother of the descendants of the dragon (Chinese people). The temple was rebuilt during the Ming and Qing dynasties and expanded in the 1980s. It spans 5,000 square meters and includes the gateway, front and rear halls, temporary imperial hall, corridor, pavilion, and stone tortoise pond. The Dragon Mother Temple is a famous historic site in southeastern Guangxi, attracting thousands of tourists and devotees from around the world.

Guangzhou - After lunch, you will be driven to your hotel or the airport in Guangzhou, a journey of 3.5 hours covering 256 km.
