Yangshuo County - The driver will greet guests at their Yangshuo hotel at 9:00 am and transport them to the Yulong River for a bamboo boat experience.

NOTE: The “Self-guided” tour does not include a tour guide, only a private car and a Chinese-speaking driver for the entire trip. Since the “Self-guided” tour was booked, the local tour operator (English-speaking) will confirm all details after booking, such as pickup time and travel instructions for each site. The driver will have a phone translation app, making communication easy.

Yulong River - The Yulong River is a 30-minute drive from Yangshuo. The bamboo boat ride lasts 90 minutes, with two people per boat.

The Yulong River, often called ‘the Little Li River,’ is a tributary of the Li River, beginning in Northern Yangshuo County. With its dramatic karst landscape, smooth waters, and ancient bridges, the river is ideal for bamboo rafting.

Xianggong Mountain - Following the Yulong River bamboo boat ride, guests will be transferred to Xianggong Hill, a 40-minute drive away. Xianggong Hill is the most stunning mountain along the Li River. A 15-minute walk up 400 steps offers a breathtaking bird’s-eye view of the entire Li River.

West Street - Afterward, guests will take a private car to West Street, where they can enjoy lunch and a leisurely stroll through downtown Yangshuo, including the famous West Street. Known for its hundreds of shops offering a wide variety of local crafts, antiques, and souvenirs, it is a shopper’s paradise. Alternatively, guests can wander through the many alleyways or along the river, enjoying the sights.

Yangshuo Silver Cave & Fuli Old Town & Xingping Old Town/Cruise. Tour Conclusion.

Silver Cave - The cave is a 40-minute drive from Yangshuo, and English headsets are available for the entire cave tour. Located in Maling Town of Lipu County, about 85 kilometers (53 miles) south of Guilin’s city center and 18 kilometers (11 miles) from Yangshuo, it is the largest karst cave in Guilin. The cave showcases the charm of the typical karst landform in southern China. Numerous crystal stalactites hang from the cave’s roof like stars in a falling Milky Way, sparkling like silver and diamonds under colorful lights, giving the cave its name: Silver Cave. The saying goes, “One will never be down and out as long as one reaches the Silver Cave.” Its majestic, otherworldly features make it an outstanding example of karst landscapes worldwide.

Moon Hill - South of the Big Banyan Tree in Gaotian Town, about 8 km (five miles) from Yangshuo County of Guilin, lies the natural wonder known as Moon Hill. At the hilltop is a round hole that penetrates the hill from north to south, resembling a bright moon, hence the name Moon Hill. Originally a limestone cave, it is one of the karst formations in the area. It is the final stop along the picturesque ‘Ten-Mile Gallery,’ a superb tourism section in Yangshuo County. In 1972, former U.S. President Richard Nixon and his wife climbed the hill. Today, Moon Hill hiking and rock climbing are popular activities among visitors.

Xingping Town - In Xingping Town, guests can enjoy lunch and visit the old street and the 20 RMB viewpoint. Additionally, they can take a small boat to explore the Li River. Historically, Xingping Town was the largest town along the Li River, located 63 km (39 miles) from Guilin and 25 km (15.5 miles) from Yangshuo, on the river’s east bank. The town is surrounded by captivating scenery, with Mural Hill and Yellow Cloth Shoal as part of this scenic area.
