• Long Sheng’s Dragon Spine Rice Terraces - The Longji Terraced Fields Scenic Area spans 70.1 square kilometers. Within this area, the Ping’an Zhuang Terraced Fields Spot is situated in Ping’an Village. This village is home to 190 families, totaling over 700 residents, all belonging to the Zhuang minority and sharing the surname Liao. The elevation ranges from 380 meters to 880 meters above sea level. There are two notable viewpoints: “Nine Dragons and Five Tigers.” This refers to the nine mountain ridges resembling dragons that extend from the peaks down to the Jinjiang River (the Golden River), savoring its pristine waters. Opposite, five hillsides resemble five tigers, standing guard over the land. The terraces are cultivated in lines, some resembling chains, others like belts, forming shapes akin to snails or towers. Among this sea of terraces, there are 15,862 individual fields, each with unique shapes and sizes.
