• Xianggong Mountain - At 4:30 am, the driver and guide will greet guests in the Yangshuo hotel lobby (or at 4:00 am for those staying at the Guilin hotel) and provide transportation to Xianggong Hill. The journey takes approximately 50 minutes from the Yangshuo hotel and 1.5 hours from the Guilin hotel.

Xianggong Mountain is situated on the west bank of the Lijiang River, nestled between Huangbu Shoal and Nine-Horse Mural Hill. Climbing the mountain offers a breathtaking aerial view of the Lijiang River meandering through numerous peaks. Each year, many photographers are drawn to Xianggong Mountain to capture the interplay of light and shadow, the sea of clouds, and the stunning morning glow at sunrise. A photographer from Guilin even won a bronze medal at the 10th International Photography Exhibition with a piece created here. Participants will have the chance to photograph the stunning scenery themselves while enjoying the sunrise on this half-day small group tour!

• Shiwai Taoyuan - Following this, the tour proceeds to Shiwai Taoyuan (also known as Shangri-La Village), which is a 30-minute drive from Xianggong Hill. The village is typically bustling, but it remains tranquil in the early morning.

The village is a picturesque garden centered around Yanzi Lake, featuring beautiful landscapes such as a lotus pond, peach trees, and Yanzi Cave. Ethnic tribes and minorities from northern Guangxi showcase their traditional customs and culture here. The park is known as Shi Wai Tao Yuan in Chinese, meaning a wonderland with flourishing peach blossoms. The name is inspired by the idyllic and serene land described in an essay by Tao Yuanming, a renowned idyllist of the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317 - 420).
