Day 1: Guiyang - Kaili - Miao Village - Show (L, D)

At 9:00 AM, meet the expert guide and driver in the hotel lobby to begin an exciting tour of exploration and discovery. Depart for Kaili, the capital of Miao minority culture, which is about a 2-hour drive. En route, visit a Miao village to admire the villagers’ traditional costumes and hairstyles, and learn embroidery from them. Enjoy a special local lunch with a local family.

Next, travel for about an hour to another authentic Miao village. Wander through the village to experience local life, and possibly enjoy a family visit.

Then, proceed to another Miao village to witness a captivating show of Miao singing and dancing performed by the villagers. Guests are invited to partake in their traditional greeting by drinking wine. After the show, enjoy free time to explore the village or shop with the villagers.

Overnight stay in a local guesthouse with Western amenities in the village.

Day 2: Leigongshan Natural Reserve - Kaili - Zhenyuan Ancient Town (B, L, D)

After breakfast, depart for the Leigongshan Natural Reserve, about an hour away. Enjoy a light hike through the pristine forest and waterfalls, providing a refreshing morning exercise.

Afterward, savor a local lunch at a nearby restaurant. Then, transfer to Taichi Town (Zhenyuan Ancient Town) in China. Upon arrival, check in at a hotel located in the heart of the old town, making it easy to explore. Take a leisurely walk to discover the town’s ancient paths and houses.

After dining at a local riverside restaurant, embark on a boat ride to enjoy the town’s night view, creating a memorable experience.

Day 3: Black Dragon Cave - Xijia Minority Village - Gejia Minority Village - Guiyang (B, L)

After breakfast, the guide will lead a short 10-minute walk from the hotel to Black Dragon Cave, a complex of ancient architecture on a mountain slope. The temples and academies here date back to 14 BC and are well-preserved, offering a great vantage point for a bird’s-eye view of the town.

Lunch will be provided en route at a local restaurant. Then, transfer to a Xijia Minority village for a family visit to learn about this small Chinese tribe. Hike along a mountainous path to another authentic Gejia minority village, renowned for batik making, and have the opportunity to observe and learn the batik-making process.

Finally, after visiting the village, the guide will return guests to the hotel in Guiyang, concluding the trip.
