Amazing Experience for a Great Price - An amazing experience. We found lots of shells and went snorkeling and saw dolphins and lots of fish. We snorkeled for what felt like an hour. The 4 hour boat ride is 45 minutes to the island. They gave us 1 1/2 hours on Egmont Key. Truly an amazing experience

Not Gilligan’s three hour tour… - This trip is nothing short of amazing. Seriously considering taking the tour again before we leave to go back home. We were able to see beautiful wildlife, the island was so much fun to explore; and the Captain and First Mate were so much fun to travel with . Everyone should make time for this tour.

Fun day - We really enjoyed the tour. Fun boat ride. Saw a mother and baby dolphin. Snorkeling was cool. The 90 minutes spent at Edgemont Key state park was a nice stop. We really enjoyed exploring and swimming. I thought the length of it was perfect. Highly recommend as a nice way to spend the morning.

Great tour of Egmont Island - John and Tanner were amazing captains. They were fully engaged with all the guests and very knowledgable about the tour. We saw tons of dolphins, a bird sanctuary, and a manatee. Also found a couple of cool shells. We had a great time and would recommend to anyone.

Great time - Great trip and great crew family really enjoyed it. They delayed the trip so rain could pass by and that was great.

Everything We Hoped - On our tour, we spotted dolphins and the captain was sure to take our time to enjoy them from a respectful distance. We stopped at two places to snorkel and at the first one we saw a herd of manatees. Our captain was awesome at making sure everyone got a chance to see what was going on, announcing which side of the boat to look over. At Egmont Key, they provided bug spray for everyone to explore the island without being eaten alive, lol. Overall, our captain took us out on a great ride with many wildlife sightings. We had a blast.

Dolphins and Dad Jokes - We did the Egmont Key dolphin/snorkeling tour today for the 1st time. Our daughter and her friend were in town and this is the main thing our daughter wanted to ensure she did. Overall I would give this 4 stars - primarily for the Captains we had - Captain Tom and Captain Tanner. They couldn't have been better. We all agreed we would not do the snorkeling again, as we truly didn't see anything additional then what we normally do on the gulf beaches. But the Captains went out of their way to make sure we saw our first dolphins in two years - and a really great pod of them. Is pod a group of dolphins? Well you get the point. :) We did have great fun today though, searching for seashells on the beach, swimming, seeing the dolphins, and just having a really nice time together. Captain Tom's Dad jokes were spot on too.

Boat ride is nice, snorkeling is pointless, and the island is neat! - The only reason we booked this particular tour was because it included snorkeling around the ruins, but we went to a spot that was very difficult to see anything due to the murky water. It could’ve been due to rough water, but they never mentioned why we weren’t going to the ruins. Fins would’ve made it easier to dive down to the bottom to have a better look, but honestly there just wasn’t much to see. They said it was better to look in the grass, but I didn’t think so. We snorkled for maybe 45 minutes and spent more time on the island which ended up being my favorite part due to its history and beauty. We saw a sea turtle and my daughter got to hunt for a few shells.
Comparing it to other snorkeling trips, the captain and assistant were friendly, but not very engaging or helpful if you didn’t know what you were doing. I’ve been on trips where the people joined you and tried to help you find interesting things to look at. I just wasn’t impressed and I certainly didn’t think they earned a top for just doing the bare minimum. The cost was higher than other outfits who had more comfortable boats, but I assumed it was because they went to the ruins. If it’s too dangerous to go to the ruins, then they shouldn’t advertise that they go. I don’t believe they even go anymore because it is too dangerous. It just costs too much for what they offer.
