Gurvanbulag - Ger Stay - Horse Ride

Gurvanbulag - Meet your guide at 8:30 am at your hotel or a preferred location in Ulaanbaatar, then travel west to the northern Gobi region to Gurvanbulag. Here, enjoy a stay in a guest ger with a nomadic family. Upon arrival, enter the family ger to experience warm nomadic hospitality, sampling milk tea, homemade yogurts, and curds while learning about their way of life and traditions. In the afternoon, if you’re feeling adventurous, take a horse ride to the nearby dunes, or opt for a walk if you prefer. In the evening, savor a traditional nomadic meal of Buuz (steamed dumplings) or Khuushuur (fried dumplings), and feel free to assist in the cooking process if you wish.

Erdenekhamba Temple - Elsentasarkhai Dunes - Camel Riding

Elsen Tasarkhai - Today, journey to the Khogno Khan nature reserve to explore the lower temple complex of Uvgun Khiid. Discover the reconstructed temples, a prayer wheel, and the surrounding ruins. A 45-minute hike to the old ruined temple complex in the hills is highly recommended for its stunning scenery and, depending on the season, an abundance of wildflowers. Return to the valley floor and proceed to the Elsen Tasarkhai dunes, a 30-minute drive away. Tonight, stay with a family of camel herders, settle into your gers, and embark on a Bactrian camel ride across the dunes for an hour, followed by a delightful home-cooked dinner.

Hustai National Park - Ulaanbaatar

Hustai National Park - Today, travel east to visit Hustai National Park before heading back to the city. Upon arrival at the camp, enjoy lunch, then drive into the park to spot the renowned Prezawalski horse, “Takhi.” Afterwards, return to Ulaanbaatar, where you will be dropped off at a location of your choice.
