The whale tour was a great experience! The captain did a wonderful job locating and staying near the whales for optimal viewing opportunities. We had the opportunity to witness a baby humpback playing, rolling, slapping its flippers, and peaking out of the water, which was phenomenal and so memorable! We also were privileged to see a pod of about 5 humpbacks synchronized swimming and diving. What an incredible sight!

We were a group of 6, 3 adults, 1 teenager, and 2 children. Everyone was excited to do the Whale Watching Tour on the TAZ and all of our expectations were met. Captain Tod and Sarah are excellent "tour" guides and very knowledgeable of the Southeast AK waters, and they greatly enhance the whale watching experience.

A small group on board the Taz, a boat full of character skippered by the inimitable Tod, supported by the knowledgeable Sara. We watched many whales in beautiful surroundings, also seeing otters, sea lions and seals. Hard to beat this particular experience.

Great weather; comfortable boat; friendly, knowledgeable and informative crew, saw whales up close soon after leaving the dock. Hard to find anything to complain about. Ok, maybe some people got a little wet when the whale spouted right next to the boat. 😉
