- Seokguram - Seokguram is an intricately designed artificial stone cave built in the 8th century to honor Buddha, and it was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Inside the cave, the stunning main Buddha, showcasing the essence of Silla Buddhist art, is enshrined.
- Daereungwon Tomb Complex - Daereungwon is an ancient tomb park featuring 23 large and small tombs clustered together. Among them, Cheonmachong is the most notable, being the only tomb in Daeneungwon to be opened. It is believed to have been constructed in the late 5th to early 6th centuries, with gold crowns, hats, belts, and gilt-bronze shoes excavated as they were originally worn.
- Woljeonggyo Bridge - Woljeong Bridge, originally a wooden bridge from the Silla dynasty, was fully restored in April 2018 after a decade-long investigation, testimony, and restoration of what was lost during the Joseon Dynasty. Its beautiful reproduction has made it a popular location for drama and movie filming.
- Hwangnidan-gil - Hwangridan-gil is the newest road in Gyeongju, located in the Hwangnam-dong area. In recent years, young people have gathered here, and charming cafes, souvenir shops, and unique restaurants have been established in each alley.
- Cheomseongdae - Cheomseongdae, the oldest observatory in Asia, is believed to have been built in the 7th century and is one of the landmarks symbolizing Gyeongju. - Banwolseong Fortress - This site was established as the royal castle of Silla in the 22nd year of King Pasa in 101 AD, serving as the palace until Silla’s fall in 935 AD. It was known as ‘Sinwolseong (新月城)’ or ‘Wolseong (城)’ due to its crescent moon-like terrain, and as ‘Jaeseong (在城)’ because it was the king’s residence. Since the Joseon Dynasty, it has been called Banwolseong (半月城) and retains this name today. Wolseong’s castle features a stone and earthen wall, constructed with a mix of stones and soil, measuring 1,841m in length and covering an area of 193,585㎡.
