Fantastic Full Day Tour of Gyeongju - We thoroughly enjoyed this full day trip of Gyeongju with our tour guide Mimi. She did a fantastic job with a well-timed schedule for a whole day itinerary. She picked us up from hotel in Busan, drive up north to Gyeongju, and drop us back to Busan, total driving was over 8 hours, a very smooth ride in a clean, spacious van. The tour covered Bulguksa Temple, Seokguram Grotto, Daereungwon Tomb with a visit inside one of the tomb complex that is open to public, Gyeongju National Museum, and Woljeonggyo Bridge. Mimi explained all along everything rich in history, and we learned a lot from her. We went to lunch at an authentic local restaurant away from the tourist area recommended by Mimi, the food was very delicious and satisfying. If we had not booked this private tour, we simply can’t be able to cover these sightseeing spots in one day. Highly recommended our tour guide if you would like to experience Gyeongju in one day!

The only way to see Gyeongju! - My family had an amazing time touring the sights of Gyeongju with our guide Jino. He carefully explained the details and significance of each place we stopped without overdoing it, which allowed us to be well informed while also soaking in the sights peacefully. They picked us up at out hotel in Busan and dropped us off at the end of the day at our new hotel in Gyeongju. The van easily fit our two large suitcases. Jino was even able to locate a restaurant in the area specializing in the one Korean dish we had yet to eat on our trip so far. He got along very well with our 7 year old son and he was also very flexible with our itinerary as the day went on, so we never felt rushed or locked into a set schedule. It all made transferring from Busan to Gyeongju and seeing all the sights (which are rather spread out) enjoyable and stress-free. I highly recommend Jino and the Gyeongju tour!

As perfect as a tour can get - Nothing short of perfect! Joy is a third generation local, proud of her city and truly knowledgeable! You really could not ask for a better combo to tour a city, she made us feel so close and familiar with Gyeongju’s ancient history and modern reality. She as a person can only be described as friendly, sincere and open to conversation about everything regarding Korea.
She takes pictures of the group along the way and sends them after the tour, of the sort of pictures that a professional photographer would take.
Do not think twice about this tour and do yourself a favor!

Amazing Private Tour from Busan to Gyeongju! - We had an absolutely incredible day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Gyeongju thanks to our amazing tour guide, Mimi. From the moment she picked us up in Busan, everything was smooth, comfortable, and perfectly organized.
Mimi was knowledgeable, kind, patient, and shared so many interesting stories about the Silla Dynasty that truly brought each site to life. We never felt rushed and she always made sure we had the best photo spots, time to explore, and a relaxed pace.
Our favorite highlights:
• Bulguksa Temple — Stunning architecture and such a peaceful atmosphere.
• Seokguram Grotto — A beautiful place with an incredible stone Buddha and amazing mountain views.
• Daereungwon Tomb Complex — Super unique and fascinating to learn about the ancient royal tombs.
• Woljeonggyo Bridge — One of the prettiest spots of the day, especially with the reflections on the water.

Nov. 2025 Tour with Joy - Our tour with Joy was a highlight of our two week trip to Seoul. My brother and I traveled with our mother, so we needed a guide who was fluent in both English and Korean since my brother and I aren’t 100% fluent in Korean, and our mom is not 100% fluent in English. Joy provided a great experience in both languages, filling the tour with interesting information. Though the tour was long, we were never bored, and feel like we gained an enormous amount of knowledge in our time together. Coordinating pick-up and drop-off was also great. We were picked up with our suitcases in the morning from our hotel, and dropped off right at the train station after our tour. All in all, we would give this experience a 6/5 if we could!

Perfect visit - William picked us up at pier and took us to Gyeongju Historic area. Our trip had to be shortened since our ship was leaving early so we asked him to speed our visit up so we got to see all the highlights and make it back to ship in time. He was accommodating and made sure we got to everything. Perfect visit without any stress about time.
