Day 1: Ha Giang - Bac Sum Slope - Heaven Gate - Twin Mountain - Yen Minh – Tham Ma Slope - H’mong King Palace - Dong Van

Day 1: Ha Giang - Bac Sum Slope - Heaven Gate - Twin Mountain - Yen Minh – Tham Ma Slope - H’mong King Palace - Dong Van
Ha Giang - An English-speaking guide and jeep driver will pick you up from your hotel or homestay in Ha Giang between 7:30 and 7:45 am. They will take you to Mai Homestay for breakfast. After breakfast, the tour guide will provide a briefing on the tour itinerary.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - After breakfast, board the open-air jeep and drive out of the city. Within 10 minutes, you will be surrounded by beautiful mountains, rivers, villages, and rice paddies. The first stop is Quan Ba Heaven Gate, located at an altitude of 1500m above sea level. Here, you can enjoy the fresh air and admire the enchanting beauty of the mountains, forests, rice fields, and flower valleys. Next, visit Quan Ba Twin Mountains and hear its story, followed by a visit to Nam Dam village, Trang Kim Valley, and Lung Tam village to see traditional weaving.
Yen Minh - The jeep continues up Can Ty Pass, offering panoramic views of the vast valley and spectacular landscapes. Stop at various viewpoints before heading to Yen Minh for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue the journey to Tham Ma Road, a famous slope in Ha Giang, where you can capture beautiful photos.
Dinh Vua Meo - After Tham Ma Slope, the jeep takes you through backroads to the Hmong King Palace. Here, you will learn about its fascinating history. The Hmong Kings’ Palace, also known as Dinh Vua Meo, is a grand structure built in the late 19th century with unique architecture. It was constructed between 1898 and 1907, costing 150,000 white Indochina silver coins, equivalent to 150 billion VND today (about 6,360,000 USD). The mansion was designed by Chinese workers from Yunnan province in collaboration with the ethnic Hmong people.
Dong Van - The tour concludes with a drive to Dong Van town, where you will stay overnight in a traditional house with a private room. Upon arrival, check into your room, relax, and enjoy dinner at the homestay. In the evening, explore the ancient town.
Day 2: Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - See Nho Que River - Meo Vac – M Road - Mau Hue Valley - Du Gia Village
Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast, check out and board the army jeep to explore the stunning landscapes. A short drive through Dong Van town leads to the breathtaking scenery of Ma Pi Leng Pass. Walk the sky path, weather permitting, and enjoy views of the deep valley and Nho Que River. Continue driving through Ma Pi Leng Pass, stopping at various points to capture panoramic views of the river and scenery.
Meo Vac - After Ma Pi Leng Pass, continue to Meo Vac Town to see the new town and beautiful villages along the way. Stop at viewpoints like M Road and Mau Due, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, proceed to Du Gia Village.
Du Gia - After lunch, board the open-air jeep again. On the way to Du Gia Village, stop at three viewpoints to admire the vast valley. Arrive in Du Gia Village in the late afternoon and visit a waterfall, where you can swim. After visiting the waterfall, check into a traditional house with a private room.
Day 3: Du Gia - Duong Thuong Valley Road - Valley - Ha Giang - Transfer back to Hanoi
Du Gia - After breakfast, check out and board the army jeep for the last day of the tour. Drive through a vast valley, stopping at viewpoints and visiting a local market or family. Drive through Thai An Pass to see Mieng River and enjoy the scenic views.
Ha Giang - The journey continues along the curvy roads of Duong Thuong and Khe Mang, nestled between cliffs. Walk along a small road flanked by cornfields and rocky cliffs. Admire the beautiful terraced rice paddies, a natural gift to northern Vietnam. On the way back to Ha Giang City, marvel at the majestic green forests and the romantic Gam River in Bac Me. Upon arrival in Ha Giang City, enjoy lunch before being dropped off at your hotel, our office, or the bus station for your return to Hanoi.
