On the first day, experience a dramatic change in scenery as you drive into the mountains before reaching the town of Tam Son. This marks the initial peak of the breathtaking journey ahead.
The tour guides you through the Karst Geopark. The Dong Van Karst Plateau is a significant geoheritage site in Vietnam.
You’ll encounter numerous rice fields, countless limestone formations, and stunning vistas. Witness locals working the land and gain insight into rural life.
Before entering Dong Van town, you’ll visit the Vuong family’s residence, often referred to as the “Palace of the Hmong King.” The journey then continues to Dong Van town, where you can explore, enjoy dinner, and unwind.
Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Yen Minh - Ha Giang City, arriving around 5 p.m.

On this day, you’ll stop at the renowned Ma Pi Leng Pass, offering views of the Nho Que River below.
This pass is famous, with many tourists considering it the most beautiful part of the loop. Shortly after the pass, you’ll take an alternate route back to Yen Minh, passing through landscapes as stunning as those on the first day. From Yen Minh, the journey leads back to Ha Giang City.
Throughout the tour, you’ll encounter diverse cultures and hill tribes, such as the H’mong tribe residing in Ha Giang province. Their distinctive attire is easily recognizable. You’ll be captivated by the trip’s many facets, including the breathtaking views, intriguing rural life, and vibrant cultures.
