Ha Giang - The Ha Giang Jeep Tour begins at 8:00 am at the office in Ha Giang City, or the operator can pick up guests from their hotel in the vicinity. A brief overview of the tour itinerary will be provided before departure.
On the first day, the Jeep Tour in Ha Giang will take participants to witness the most impressive scenery, featuring spectacular landscapes and breathtaking views. Just 10 minutes outside the city, the stunning mountains and winding roads become visible, offering beautiful mountain vistas. The first notable pass is Pac Sum Pass, with an altitude over 1000m above sea level, where the temperature noticeably cools. The Jeep will stop at a viewpoint for a panoramic view of the valley and villages, showcasing an amazing and stunning landscape.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - After enjoying the view from Pac Sum Pass, guests will continue on the open-air Jeep, still able to admire the beautiful landscape and valley. The journey proceeds through rock limestone mountains and villages, offering many beautiful scenic views, leading to the Heaven Gate. Here, the landscape is truly spectacular, with a huge and deep valley that will leave visitors in awe.
Lung Tam Village - The tour continues down to the valley of Tam Son Town. On the way, the Jeep takes a backroad to visit Lung Tam Village, home to the Dao Minority people. The Jeep will park in the village, allowing for a walk around. The guide will introduce guests to local families, providing insights into the local culture.
Lung Khuy Cave - After lunch at a local restaurant, the tour leaves Lung Tam Village to visit Lung Khuy Cave, one of the largest caves in Ha Giang. A hike to the cave is included, and after the visit, the tour returns to the open-air Jeep to continue to Yen Minh. On the way, the Jeep will pass Can Ty Slope, offering views of rocky mountains and Hmong minority villages. At the peak of Can Ty Pass, a panoramic view of the valley awaits.
Yen Minh - Here, the landscape is spectacular, with amazing rock limestone mountains marking the start of the Karst Plateau Geopark. A stop at the viewpoint in Lao Chai Village for lunch offers a chance to see beautiful terraced rice paddies. The day concludes with an overnight stay in Yen Minh at a homestay, with private room accommodations.
Yen Minh - Tham Ma Slope - H’mong King Palace - Lung Cu Flag Pole - Lo Lo Chai Village - Dong Van Town
Lung Cu Flag Tower - After breakfast, the excursion resumes, with the Jeep driving to Tham Ma Slope, featuring a 9-step road, perfect for capturing amazing photos. The journey continues to Sung La Village, rich in history and stories. The tour then visits the significant Lung Cu Flag Pole, marking the border between Vietnam and China, offering splendid views. A visit to Lo Lo Chai Village follows, home to the Lo Lo ethnic minority, where traditional clay houses can be seen. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
Dong Van - Post-lunch, the Jeep heads to Dong Van Town, stopping at the Vuong family residence, known as the “H’mong King Palace.” The day ends with dinner and a homestay in Dong Van Town.
Dong Van - Happy Road - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Nho Que River Overview - Meo Vac - Du Gia Village
Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast, the tour departs Dong Van Town, with the open-air Jeep showcasing the most beautiful part of the journey on Happiness Road, connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac. Ma Pi Leng Pass is renowned for its rugged cliffs and breathtaking views, often called the “king” of Vietnam’s passes. The road winds through cliffs, reaching an altitude of 2,000 meters.
To fully appreciate the pass’s beauty, the tour includes a ride down the Sky Path to admire the valley and Nho Que River. The panorama of Ma Pi Leng Pass offers unforgettable photo opportunities. Standing at the pass’s peak, the majestic mountains and rivers create an overwhelming sense of awe.
Meo Vac - The journey continues to more remote villages, revealing how people live in Vietnam’s distant areas. The route passes through Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, with a lunch stop in Meo Vac Town. The tour then proceeds through the mountainous trail road area.
Du Gia - The tour continues to Du Gia Village, known for its amazing landscape and cultural diversity, with seven ethnic minorities residing in the same village. The colorful village offers a rich cultural experience, with an overnight stay at a homestay with a Tay Minority Family, including dinner and “happy water.”
Du Gia - Duong Thuong – Thai An - Ha Giang
Quan Ba - After breakfast, the Ha Giang Jeep Tour Team explores the hidden Du Gia Waterfall. After bidding farewell to the homestay host, the journey continues, offering more amazing natural and landscape experiences. The return to Ha Giang includes crossing Duong Thuong Valley and Thai An Road. After passing Sky Gate, the tour returns to Yen Minh, concluding with an adventurous ride back to Ha Giang in the afternoon.
