Ha Giang - Day 1: Ha Giang- Quan Ba- Yen Minh- Dong Van: (B, L, D)
7:30 AM: After breakfast, the journey begins with a drive uphill to Quang Ba - The Heaven Gate in Tam Son. Enjoy a hike around Quan Ba, visit the Twins Hill, and have lunch. Continue uphill to explore the Chinese-style architecture at Vuong King’s Palace, who led approximately 70,000 H’Mong ethnic people in this region. Arrive in Dong Van, check in, and enjoy dinner.
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark is located in northern Vietnam, sharing a border with China to the north. It is recognized as a member of the UNESCO Global Geoparks.
Dinh Vua Meo - 4:30 PM: Visit the Vuong family’s mansion (King of the Hmong people). Here, you can truly appreciate the life and culture of the H’Mong people. As the day ends, under the last rays of sunlight, experience the architectural blend of three cultures: H’Mong, French, and Chinese.
- 6:00 PM: Check into the hotel or homestay and relax.
- 7:30 PM: Enjoy dinner, then take a leisurely walk around Dong Van old town and savor street food at the Dong Van old town night market.
Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Ha Giang City (B, L)
Ma Pi Leng Pass - 8:30 AM: From Dong Van Town, the tour guide will lead you to explore the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass. Check in at the Ma Pi Leng monument stop, Panorama check-in, death cliff, and several beautiful viewpoints at the top of the pass. Enjoy a boat ride on the Nho Que River, admiring the majestic Tu San canyon.
Meo Vac - 12:00 PM: Have lunch in Meo Vac town.
