DAY 1: HA GIANG CITY – YEN MINH TOWN - DONG VAN

Ha Giang Wanderlust - Day 1: Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van, 135 km journey (B, L, D).
8:30 AM: Meet the tour guide and easy rider to embark on the “Happiness Road,” heading north from Ha Giang city. Ascend the Quan Ba – Bac Sum Pass, explore the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, and arrive at the Quan Ba Heaven Gate. This mountain observatory offers breathtaking views of the majestic mountains. After passing Fairy Hill, continue to Yen Minh, traversing a pass enveloped by pine forests and terraced landscapes. Enjoy lunch here before proceeding to Tham Ma Pass, a winding road on National Highway 4C. Arrive at Sa Phin to visit the century-old palace of Vuong Chinh Duc, the H’mong King. Continue to Dong Van Town, stopping at Dong Van Old Town to visit the ancient Fort built by the French. Delight in a local Vietnamese dinner, live music, a campfire, and karaoke with ethnic minority families.

DAY 2: DONG VAN TOWN - MA PI LENG PASS - NHO QUE RIVER - DU GIA LOCAL VILLAGE

Dong Van - Day 2: Dong Van – Lung Cu – Ma Pi Leng – Nho Que River – Pa Vi village (approx 65 km drive) (B, L, D).

After breakfast, bid farewell to the local family and drive to the Northern point. Visit a Lo Lo ethnic minority village and a valley flagpole, a symbol of Vietnam visible across the Sino-Vietnamese border. Enjoy lunch here before continuing through some of the most stunning mountain passes. Ascend the “cliff of death” at Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s four most treacherous passes. From the Panorama Viewpoint at the top, marvel at the striking mountains and terraced fields. Below lies Tu San defile, a must-visit location for travelers. With clear blue waters flanked by towering limestone mountains, proceed to Pa Vi village, home to the Mong people, for dinner and an overnight stay in a local homestay.

Day 3: Pa Vi Village – Mau Due – Du Gia Waterfall (approx 75 km drive) (B, L, D)

After checking out from the homestay and having breakfast, continue through several high passes and large rocky mountains. Have lunch in Mau Due before venturing deeper into the southern mountains to reach the picturesque Du Gia Village, known for its stunning natural scenery. The area is rich in nature, featuring a waterfall nestled in a lush green forest, formed by nature thousands of years ago. Enjoy swimming and jumping here, and spend the night in a homestay with a local ethnic minority family. Dinner includes “happy water” and karaoke.

Day 4: Du Gia – Duong Thuong – Thuan Hoa – Ha Giang (approx 100 km drive) (B, L)

Ha Giang - After breakfast, begin the journey south, bidding farewell to Du Gia. Travel through towering mountains overlooking the Duong Thuong valley, with expansive fields and high, winding passes. The scenery is both dramatic and awe-inspiring, from Thuong Street to Thuan Hoa, crossing the pass along the Song Lo Valley back to Ha Giang.
